Always a quality place to stay. Nice room, comfortable bed, quality Shampoo, Conditioner and Body lotion in the large shower. Well appointed room with desk, bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, plenty of space to hang suits and shirts. This time I was on the 7th floor in an east facing room which meant the sun gets you up, but the quality sun block curtains do a pretty good job of keeping out most of the sunlight. The bathroom is a good size and checkout was fast and efficient. I choose the Adnate because of the proximity to Wilson Parking. Enter off Murray Street and it's a very short walk to the Adnate. The only negatives are the ones I mentioned last time when I stayed here in December 2024, and that's the pillows. When are hotels going to learn to supply DIFFERENT SIZED PILLOWS!? I mentioned it last time, but clearly they haven't taken any notice. Not everyone uses a high pillow. Sure, 4 big fluffy looking pillows look great on the bed and in online advertising, but they are uncomfortable if you prefer a low pillow. I have a sore neck. Also the windows. Check out the pic and decide for yourself. Despite the negatives, and other enjoyable stay.

Good central location

Very central location. Don't be surprised when your taxi takes you to what seems to be a car park entrance. It leads to the drop-off area right by the entrance. Reception area is utilitarian and a bit uninspiring, as are the hotel corridors. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is standard fare. Dinner options are more inspiring. Later when we rented a car the parking garage (as mentioned before) is adjacent and very handy.

The physical room itself is great. It’s clean, spacious, amenities satisfying and bed is comfortable. We had some issues with reception that didn’t have any advice for dining places, they need an orientation around Perth. The BAHA bar was managed well as we spoke to Madeline and her staff were also so happy and able, you can tell that they enjoyed working there. Will come back again and spend time in bar !!

My wife and I were greatly looking forward to a rare, kid-free weekend in the city, and we chose The Adnate for what we hoped would be a special overnight stay. Our first impression of the hotel was not a good one. The lobby felt unwelcoming, and bizarrely, there was an opened and unattended carton of Browne's coffee milk left on a communal table near the entrance. The check-in process that followed was a complete shambles. Instead of a welcoming greeting acknowledging my Accor membership and the "Indulgence Package" we'd purchased, there was nothing. The staff member tried to charge me for the full amount of the stay completely ignoring that I had used Reward points to cover most of the charge. After I explained the situation, he became confused and then attempted to charge me for the value of the points used. It was only after I presented my confirmation email as proof that he finally understood and charged the correct remaining balance. To cap off this frustrating ordeal, my credit card was then declined. After using a different card successfully, I received a fraud alert from my bank asking me to approve. The card that was supposedly "declined" worked perfectly at other retailers later that day, proving the issue was entirely with the hotel's payment system. We were booked into a Premium Adnate Deluxe King room, which was advertised as being larger. In reality, the extra space was just a large, empty area between the foot of the bed and the wall-mounted television. This made the room feel poorly designed and made watching TV from bed quite difficult due to the distance. It certainly did not feel like a valuable or "premium" upgrade. Our package was meant to include a picnic hamper. The package explicitly stated this would be provided "upon your arrival," but it was completely forgotten. We had to go back down to reception to request it. When we returned to our room later, the hamper had been delivered. To be fair, the contents were of good quality, with a nice bottle of red wine and assorted cheeses. However, it was a shame that it included pork, which my wife doesn't eat. It's another small detail that shows a lack of thought, as there was no inquiry about dietary restrictions for a "curated" package. The final failure in service came at breakfast. Despite our rate clearly including buffet breakfast for two, the restaurant staff insisted it was not included. For the second time during our short stay, I had to pull out my phone and show my confirmation email to prove what I was entitled to. It was embarrassing and unacceptable. After all that hassle, the breakfast itself was a letdown. There was now only 10 minutes left before the buffet closed, and many of the hot food trays, including the scrambled eggs, were already empty and not being refilled. The comedy of errors concluded at checkout. Unbelievably, for the second time, the hotel staff tried to charge us the full amount for the stay, demonstrating a complete and systemic failure in their internal communication and billing systems. The only bright spot in an otherwise soulless experience was the Food and Beverage Manager. He was a true diamond in the rough, with great charisma and great banter. His professionalism and warmth were a stark contrast to the rest of the service we encountered and the only part of our stay that felt genuinely hospitable. However, one excellent staff member cannot make up for a hotel with such fundamental systemic failures. The entire stay was characterised by unprofessionalism and a complete lack of attention to detail. Based on this experience, I would absolutely not recommend The Adnate.

Here for quick 3 day business trip. Great location and top staff, especially at BAHA. Turned up 20mins late for breakfast & everything was closed, BUT no problem to chief Rob who produced this & Kelvin who ran away and came back with a coffee from afar. Biggest & best brekky lve had in a while! Superb effort & most appreciated. That’s going to make me come back. 👏👍👏
