A wonderful resort, we stayed there for our 2nd year anniversary and every minute spent was great, from the great and warm welcoming, to the food, the room, the exceptional hospitality from the staffs and lots more. I so much appreciate Tatum, her kind is rear, she is such a sweetheart, oh Neemah, khatib, Mr Yusuf, our room keeper, the chefs and waiters. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable and fun. Amazing stay in Zanzibar !!!!! The staff is super friendly and exceeds expectations!!!! Special thanks to Goodluck who always took care of me preparing drinks and recommended food for lunch!!! He has a great charisma!!! Always smiling and amazing attitude!!! We had a great sunset view!!!! I will miss you!!! Also Thanks to Kilian and Anwari for their kindness!!! As well as the cleaning ladies who always took care of the room and decorate the bed!!!! Dinner very good and chefs have also a great attitude!!!!! Entertainment during night was also super good!!!! Thanks to the people from the breakfast who always were offering me hot sauce or chili’s :) 100% recommended!!! Thank you all!!!!

Came here for a relaxing few days after kilimanjaro and safari to do some scuba and chilling. That's exactly what I got. Staff are incredibly friendly, food is decent and they have a generator for when the power goes. All in all, I highly recommend it.

Incredibly friendly staff. Also the owner, Richard, is a real kind guy as well. So if you do have any issues, whether it is staff, or the easily accessible owner, you're in good hands The rooms are clean, the pools are nice and calm, the scenery is great, and also the diversity of the ala carte menu is nice + extremely reasonably priced. $5 for a whole fresh coconut! Also fish that is caught right off the shore. The beach is also really cool. During high tide, you can enjoy a swim. And during low tide, exploring the tide pools is a ton of fun. Sea urchins, starfish, sea cucumbers and other marine life. A few things that could be improved: - It seems the standard room vs the SeaView or OceanView rooms have some differences we noticed. It seemed just a bit less care to detail in the standard room before we switched to the Seaview/Oceanview. Staff handled our issues though. Also will say the improved lighting alone makes the upgrade worth it. Another thing, the rooms could use maybe a small sofa or something.. they work, but feel somewhat "barren" - The dinner offerings were good, but I think theyre missing an opportunity to highlight local cuisine. Also the meats/seafood had a tendency to be overcooked (from an American perspective albeit) but ended up usually being tough/chewy - There are some salespeople always present on the beach. They do offer services, and sell goods, but they can be a bit persistent in their sales tactics. It's a bit of an annoyance, and while I understand supporting the local people, a more structured approach would likely make guests feel more relaxed. They were always friendly though, never aggressive or rude or anything!

We spent five days at Nungri Dreams and Mantis for Zanzibar and had such a wonderful experience. The ocean views from both poolside areas are breathtaking, and the setting is so relaxing that we often felt we didn’t need to go anywhere else. The service was excellent—everyone we met was friendly, kind, and attentive. From the operations manager, Jason, to Rich, food & beverage manager, and the rest of the staff, the hospitality truly stood out and made our stay very comfortable. The rooms were spacious, the facilities well cared for, and the buffet breakfast offered plenty of good options. We enjoyed the on-site services, including massage, and loved the nightly entertainment. The hotel also provided reliable touring services, making it easy to explore when we wanted to. I’d be happy to return and would recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar.
