Mantra Albury

This was our overnight stopover driving from Melbourne to Sydney. We did not expect much but was presently surprised with the quality and service of the hotel. To top it off they have an excellent chef working in their kitchen, both dinner and breakfast was superb.

This was a short stay, the staff were excellent, courteous, the building was new and clean and has been maintained at a very high standard. I have no hesitation recommending Mantra Albury to all travellers, one night or more!

Accor Platinum membership wasn’t acknowledged correctly. As a solo traveller I had hoped to be better cared for. The room was fine. Good shower & bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good - nice fruit, yogurt & surroundings. In house parking $15 - just a shame the coffee was terrible! The staff tried 3 times to get it right! Last coffee I took as a take away…

Checking in was easy. Finding the underground parking was easy. The room was small but had everything required. I booked car parking for both nights, but on the second night, the car park was full, so I had to park elsewhere. On the first night, my work colleague and I decided to eat at the restaurant. We were both disappointed. Inexperienced staff were not the whole problem. From start to finish, our dinner took about 2 hours. We had to ask a coupe of times, when our meals would be arriving. It took at least 45 minutes for our entrees to arrive, and then another 45 minutes after we had finished the entrees for the main meals to arrive. We had to remind a waiter that we had ordered another drink. We decided not the eat there on the second night of our stay as we were not prepared to wait so long for meals.

Wonderful staff comfortable space we checked in really late and the staff member could not have been more caring or thoughtful. The room was spacious and we had a great nights sleep. I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back for family / business or solo.
