What a great place this is. We always stop here on our travels and it’s always great. This time we used a pet friendly room as we took our small dog with us. A great breakfast in the morning assisted by a lovely Ladin who was managing the restaurant

We were the parents and adult daughter who stayed one night on our way to Melbourne. We paid for an "executive studio for 3 people". Ths description turned out to be false and misleading. In fact, this room is a standard 29 square metres hotel room that could fit a maximum of 2 people. The third person (our adult daughter) had to sleep on a sofa bed. The problem was that when the sofa bed is open it literally touches one side of the Queen bed. This meant the person sleeping on that side of the Queen bed was blocked from getting off the bed. The person sleeping on the sofa could get up from the sofa but with difficulty. This is harmful to the Accor brand which enjoys our highest respect, and we enjoy being Platinum members for many years. In fairness, subject to the above comments, this a very good hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and is as nice as it is shown in the photo. Breakfast was typical for a Mantra hotel. Coffee was excellent. The location is also excellent being in the middle of the shopping centre. Unfortunately, all of this is useless if the room is booked for 3 people. Without this problem the hotel deserves 4 stars. The problem is easy to remedy, and we wish the operators every success.

Friendly and professional staffs, very responsive front desk service. Kids room with games, subscription TV and movies was a bonus. Check-in around 2pm was busy, at the time only one staff at the front desk, there were a couple of people waiting already and the staff also need to answer phone queries. Our room was around the corner facing the public car park next door. The rooms were clean and spacious. There were LED ceiling lights went around the window which supposed to be manage a light switch but it didn’t work. We didn’t realise this until the bedtime. The front desk staff was very helpful and it appears this was a common issue to them. Breakfast was basic and adequate. Overall, a pleasant stay for a stopover.

Poor Experiance

I recently stayed at the Mantra Albury and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. When booking through Accor – Mantra Client Services, we were not offered the same rate that was publicly available online, which we discovered only after completing the booking with the consultant. At check-in, our Accor ALL Gold membership was not acknowledged. We were incorrectly told we were standard members and were assigned a room with a view directly overlooking a carpark and air-conditioning units. Reception staff seemed confused when we queried the room rate and the overcharge, and the overall service did little to resolve the issue. The room itself was clean with an acceptable bed, and the hotel is in a great location. However, the lack of recognition, the rate discrepancy, and the poor customer service made the stay unnecessarily stressful. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not choose to stay here again. I don’t stay at a hotel to deal with internal inconsistencies and avoidable stress.

Spent a night here ahead of a long trip. The hotel is basic and has poor recognition of ACCOR ALL membership status. Their restaurants and room service closes at 9pm, with staff lost when asked for options for food. Ironically, there are a number of outlets open in town, staff are not aware. Parking is a nightmare, with sharp turns and poorly marked lanes. Despite having a bar at the entry, the staff seem to keep to themselves. The management can be seen behind a door at reception, generally watching the security cameras, Wonder how safe this place is, if they need to monitor the screens at all times.
