Great location being close to Westfield, train station and many restaurants. Lovely staff although reception phone wasn’t always answered from room but didn’t mind the trek down as they were very accomodating dealing with in person regarding requests for pillow, toilet paper, towel. Sofa bed was faulty and shower curtain needed change which was rectified by housekeeping easily. Prepaid buffet breakfast at $24 which was much cheaper than walk in price of $30 and was adequate with many options. Dining appeared only serviced by 2 staff, 1 cooking and 1 managing room and bar by herself who were superb considering there were many of us. Stayed on weekend so dining was not open for lunch&dinner but there are many great eateries nearby and we delivered our favourite food in with ease. Parking was convenient and secure underground with access straight to room floor in lift from carpark at $20 a night. Stayed in 1 bedroom apartment, while very clean, spacious and functional with balcony view of pool and fully equipped with all necessary utensils, appliances, hot plate to cook, washing machine/dryer (including dishwashing liquid&powder). Aircon system was uncomfortable and kept blowing cold air at 26 temp so turned it off but it is winter so room was cold. Bed was tired&uncomfortable however pillows and sheets were nice and clean. Requested extra pillow as there was only 2 on bed with cushions and 1 in cupboard. Will not return until hotel has refurbishment upgrading bed, aircon system, etc. The winning factor is their great staff and convenient location that makes one overlook the hotels need for upgrade.

Stayed for 2 nights in a twin room and wish I’d stayed elsewhere. Booked via Qantas travel. The pros: In-room microwave, mini fridge and mini stovetop Proximity to Westfield Parramatta and train station Decent shower water pressure The cons: Twin single beds were tiny and uncomfortable Bedside tables were equally tiny and useless Air conditioner blew out warm air on cool Staff were uninterested and unhelpful Poor cleanliness No sports or movie channels (just free to air TV) I pre-arranged for my (adult) son to check in as I was going to be in a meeting when he arrived. Room was prepaid. But the lady at the desk still interrupted my meeting with 100 questions before letting him in (even after he provided ID and a credit card). On arrival the prior guests dinner tray was left outside the room. When we left 2 days later it was still there, despite a couple of complaints while we were there. The carpets in the hallway are badly stained. The “view” is straight into an office building next door. On checkout I handed the keys back and the man on the desk just said “ok” and stood there. No communication. No “all good” or “thanks for staying”. Zero customer service and poor experience. Would never return.

Underwhelming to say the very least. Aircon did not function (a number of my group said the same). Built in 2000 and looks like nothing has been done since. Buffet breakfast was average and had to clear tables ourselves, asked for coffee lass checked coffee machine then walked off not asking if I knew how to use it. Buffet last night (group) Thai red curry chicken should have been described as coconut cream chicken with a tinge of red. Top it off walked into a lift this morning to be greeted by vomit.

The front desk staff at the Mantra were fantastic. I was in NSW for medical treatment and the team went out of their way to change our room to one better suited to my needs and checked in with how I was when they saw me. It was a very comfortable stay and close to shops and transport. Amazing service.

Location & lovely friendly staff. Underground parking was great. We were able to get discounted rates on the room & parking as we are Accor members. It was a last minute booking after a disaster booking at another apartment in parramatta. Our room was clean. The beds were a little uncomfortable, there isnt much softness left. They could do with an update. Loved our stay & will be back.
