Booked this place specifically for a spa bath. Like, booked in Hervey Bay rather than Maryborough because we wanted a room with a spa bath. Called and asked about a room with a view and a spa bath. Assured that all of the rooms had spa baths. Looks like our room used to have a spa bath, because the shower is the size of a wall-in wardrobe, but it doesn’t anymore. Hella disappointed and now very annoyed that I am driving half an hour each way, out of my way, for a room that I could have had in the place I actually needed to go.

on arrival we were asked to pay a bond ( no mention of this previous to our stay)to date we have not received this bond back. During our stay my wife and i were waking covered with bites , friends told us it was most likely midges while sitting on the lounge we noticed bugs approximately 3 - 4mm long crawling over the lounge, a sample of these bugs were given to reception staff, cleaning staff attended our room we showed them our bites they removed the sheets and sprayed our bed the lounge and our bags including our clothes, we were move to the room directly above our room on the 6 floor where we were continually bitten ,the following morning we woke and were preparing breakfast my wife opened the cupboard to get a cup and at least 20 crawling bugs crawled out all over the kitchen bench, a video of this was sent to management along with photos showing the room had not been sprayed since Christmas 2022. We checked out early and told reception of our concerns we showed videos and photos to the staff ,they told us to fill out some paper work and we left. we received an email saying that pest control was order to inspect the rooms on the next day following this we received a missed call from a manager ,we returned her call but she was showing no interest in addressing our concerns repeatedly telling us she was very busy and was with somebody else , she stated it was an environmental issue and that we should expect bugs to fly into our room we explained the bugs in question did not have wings and we were on the 6 th floor she told us the room had been sprayed (offering no evidence of this) we have had no further correspondence from her

Another enjoyable stay overlooking the water in a comfortable well appointed one bedroom unit. Friendly staff make booking in and out very easy, liked having my car in undercover, secured parking overnight. The very short walk to a range of local restaurants, cafes and the Hervey Bay Boat Club made for easy dining out during our stay. Highly recommended if visiting Hervey Bay region.

It’s ok ! Nice views over harbour amazing Not a 4* more 2* Accor needs to update this accommodation for being a up graded place to stay ! It’s just ok to be for days out ! We met people there very dissatisfied with the pool temperatures that were supposed to be heated ? They clearly was not as no one in the pools ! And very sad for the guests that had paid soooo money much for pool rooms leading out onto pool that was freezing!

Given the size of this resort on site dining should be an option. Check in was chaotic and parking very confusing. Room needs a good update and clean. Bathroom was also laundry and very cramped. After looking artound the area, which is beautiful, there are much better options for accomodation in Hervey Bay.
