Mantra Hervey Bay is the best place to splash out and soak up the luxury of a heated lagoon-style outdoor pool complete with decked bridge. We also have two BBQ and dining areas around the pool for guest use.

Good location but that is about it. My room did have a quite nice view of the marina. My bedroom was hot and still - not even a ceiling fan. Even a floor fan in the cupboard with ironing board would have been nice. Long hallway so no air from air conditioner in living area would even reach. Spent first night sleepless. Spent next two nights on terribly uncomfortable sofa bed but at least under the cool air conditioning in living room. Not good value at all. I don't mind if the place is older and dated looking but comfort is a priority. The double bed is two beds pushed together and far from comfortable. The TV is woeful in this day and age you would have thought a smart TV would be provided. For the money they ask you would expect more. For so called one car per unit I doubt that happened. Hard to get a park and if you go out and come back late at night like I did one night there was no spot left at all. Tradies park in the disabled parks which are few and far between. Using room card to park probably better than a code which anyone even not staying there could just park if they knew the code. As a person with disabilities travelling alone it was very difficult one night I had to park half way down to the Boat Club when I returned. Need more parks in general and also more parks for those with disability permits. Travelling alone I don't have the option of someone dropping me off at the front and they go park.

Tired, dated decor. Good location, nice view of the marina. The most uncomfortable beds! Hard and cheap feeling, super thin mattress toppers when I rang to ask staff if they had any other toppers they said they didn't think so never heard anymore. Comfortable beds and quality mattresses is a deal breaker for me. No screens so if you leave doors open for air you also leave yourself open to insects/mosquitoes... screens so you can have fresh air are important especially when you can't open a window. Pool is way smaller than it appears in the pictures. Price is way too high given the lack of quality here.

Lovely location but poor quality of rooms

We stayed for 3 nights in a 1 bed apartment marina facing. From the moment we opened the door a terrible stench greeted us. It was a very warm and humid evening wage aircon was off, we had to open the sliding doors and put the aircon on to refresh the room from the stench of the room. I think the sofa was the culprit for the smell, a mix of ammonia and sweat mixed with body odours. We couldn’t sit there otherwise our clothes will stink, really bad smell. Management should burn out the sofa. No cleaning will get rid of that stench. Carpet had several stains and kitchen cabinet doors were falling apart. This hotel is in URGENT NEED FOR A RENOVATION!! is the standard of the worst motel in the worst town! I wouldn’t recommend to stay here at all. The only positive was the view.
