Four of us had dinner today at Larder. We had never heard about this restaurant before, but we took a chance to try the food instead of going to the famous Totties. Just, literally, OMG, the food and the service was top-notch as well. The young manager, Vini, is so energetic and attentive. We have been to lots of restaurants, but Vini is one of the best managers we’ve met in a long time. He was talking about cricket, Adelaide, and Sri Lanka. Good lad! We are definitely coming back to Lorne, and we are planning to stay at Mantra next time. I hope Vini will be there. The food was also top class, no complaints at all!

Vinith and the service team at The Larder is simply excellent. We spent 5 nights 6 days and blast was always a very pleasant experience.Bfast buffet Food quality and variety was simply great. No request was too much for the service team and that too with a very positive attitude and a friendly smile. New Years Dinner took it to another level and that was purely on Vinith’s very professional friendly and attentive service. He is an absolute asset to Mantra. (retired Hospitality Management) Compliments to the Chef! Salmon and Scotch Fillet were on point. Overall a pleasant experience at The Larder. Congratulations Team and Thank You Vinith 🙏

Disgusting is the best way to describe our apartment. The floors hadn’t been cleaned properly Broken shutter on the window. Dust and unknown things under the bed. I accidentally dropped my water bottle went to pick it up and noticed the dust mixed in with other things. Clearly has been missed when vacuuming.

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 day stay and I've got to say it was a bit disappointing. We had a room but the apartments may have been a better option. We hated the parking situation. If you had an A next to your room number you got a park outside your room. If you had a B you had to park a 100 metres away (approx). B was the top level wouldn't it be better to have the top level closer? Even with a lift it was a pain. Dinner in the restaurant was nice enough but still pricey even with the Accor member discount. Gluten free options were few. Lots of grass which wasn't being utilised for anything, apart from the tennis court. The pool was under cover and next to reception and people in it could be watched while at reception. It put me off using it. Breakfast was fine but basic. Staff were all pleasant and professional. The room itself was very basic. Old, worn and with a very awkward shower over a hot tub. The bed and pillow were very comfortable though. I hate giving critical reviews but sorry this hotel was very basic.
