Great position, Disappointing room

This could be a great place to stay. Reception very pleasant on arrival, Free under cover parking, great pool good facilities and a great spot close to everything. Then we opened the door to our standard 1-bedroom unit off peak this room is about $325 per night. What a letdown I booked through booking .com and the photo was nothing like what we got. I had requested a renovated room. The first thing we noticed was the dirty stained carpet the dirty stained couch. The bathroom, laundry smelt musty and needed a good clean. The shower door did not close properly and flooded all over the floor each time we used it. Appliances were old, everything needs a good paint and definitely an update and refurbishment. Our room number was 323. We will however stay here again and do a direct booking and get a refurbished room as I had seen them while looking around the resort and they look very modern and nice. Check with management before booking a room.

Very disappointing

Whilst the check-in procedure was smooth, our room was a disappointment to say the least. It had a very musty smell, the bathroom was bad and the room generally tired. To top it all off the bed not comfortable at all. We paid a lot for this room through our Accor card so this made it more disappointing. Being close to the beach, restaurants and shops did not make up for it in the least. I understand the property is going through renovations at this time but these rooms do not meet any 5 star standards and should not be rented out as such.

Poor experience, bad customer service

Would not recommend. Great location, but terrible customer service and some terrible rooms. This was our fourth year staying here, and each time it’s gone a little more downhill. Despite booking almost a year in advance and being repeat guests, we were given a dark room facing a brick wall and car park, with a faint smell of gas drifting up from the BBQ and pool area below. Management’s response was just a shrug. Careful what room you end up with. Disappointing — we won’t be back

Regarding the room allocation, it is a little difficult to comment on the aspect or position of a specific apartment, as the layout of the building has remained unchanged since its original design. The apartment you stayed in forms part of our letting pool and, as such, needs to be allocated like any other. If preferences around outlook or location were noted on the reservation, our team would certainly have made every effort to accommodate them. During school holiday periods, however, availability is significantly constrained, and it’s likely that the response from management reflected the fact that we were simply unable to offer an alternative at the time. Your comments about the BBQ area have been noted. The BBQ is located directly below as part of the original site plan and shared guest amenities, but we will ensure the area is checked to avoid any future concerns about gas smells. We do appreciate your loyalty over the years and regret that this visit has left you disappointed. Should you choose to return, we would welcome the opportunity to better meet your expectations.

Room 308, booked for 3 people, 2 adults and 1, 10 yr old child. Booked “deluxe” apartment, stayed 6 nights - no bedding AT ALL for sofa bed, only towels for 2 people. Asked for room to be made up, they don’t. So no bath towels or bedding for the 3rd person. Absolutely shocking.

Hi Hayley, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m very sorry that your stay in Apartment 308 did not meet expectations, particularly in regard to bedding and towels for the third guest. For our apartments, the sofa bed linen is either made up prior to arrival or stored in the cupboard. During periods of high occupancy, especially school holidays, there are occasions where housekeeping may miss replenishing these items. While that doesn’t excuse the oversight, I do apologise that this appears to have happened during your stay. Our reception team keeps additional bedding and towels on hand at all times, and housekeeping can attend to setups when notified. I’m sorry if this wasn’t made clear or if assistance wasn’t provided when you requested it. Apartment 308 is one of our flagship rooms, and it’s disappointing to know that this issue affected your experience. Your comments have been passed on to our housekeeping and front office teams to prevent a repeat of this situation. If you’re open to it, we’d appreciate the opportunity to restore your confidence in us on a future stay.

This apartment was really kitted out with everything you could want with a 24 hour reception. It is secure with lifts to all floors. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Of course Noosa is amazing and the street is right on the doorstep and the beach is only 50 steps.
