Mantra Frangipani Broome 4 ดาว

Absolutely did the job. Stayed 15 Nights. Unlike most accommodations in Broome, I was satisfied by the fair pricing and the value-matched aspect. Well thought out apartments, as advertised. Enjoyed the style of the apartments, self-contained and functionality. The cleaning was excellent and cleaning guy very friendly to ask if I needed something etc. Enjoyed my independent stay and ability to cook for myself, it was quiet, didn’t have to worry about noise and other guests disturbing, which is a very important on vacation for me. It was very reliable exactly as advertised. Location was safe, good base for exploring Broome and the region. The Reception staff were very friendly, from start to end. On the con side, although I loved the style and the amazing vibe of the gardens, I didn’t appreciate the fact that the Apartments’ Barbeque and verandah are facing the main walk or in some cases the parking, people passing and facing the parking didn’t feel very private and had to close the curtains for privacy, while the barbeque area is nice, it’s not so private compared to inside. The outdoor shower is a double edged sword, in my season perfectly fine, it was November and very hot but I wouldn’t like it in dry season when it’s cooler in the morning. There were some nice animals peeking at me when showering! For me no problem but some people might not appreciate ;) Although the resort area felt safer, I was told to secure my room at all times, and during my frequent trips to Broome for supplies (like groceries) I felt quite unsafe due to the visible social distress, I had people scream at me and witnessed sexual assault (a man grabbing a female and touching her intimate parts) by a man to a woman. Absolutely not pleasant! This has nothing to do with the resort, and actually Mantra Frangipani is among the safest areas to stay in whole Broome to avoid these issues. So while the resort was quite safe, I didn’t appreciate Broome and town and unsure if I would return. The resort area seems to be targeted by thieves, and you are unlikely to witness the social distress experienced in Broome town centre. Due to my unique needs of not having a car and driving license, I would have appreciated a more personalized help on that, but the reception probably did their best to advise around, and the local guy Mat who worked in the hotel was very kind to use his limited free time to arrange a very good and fair pricing to make some of the drives I had planned. Overall the accommodation itself is excellent, very reliable and exactly as advertised, reception friendly but at times felt a bit impersonal, apartments great but the layout of the barbecue facing the parking maybe not the best. Broome town I didn’t appreciate, but resort area was quite safe, and was very close to Cable Beach area which was also quite safe and tourist oriented. If in Broome I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Nestled in greenery within walking distance of Cable Beach, Mantra Frangipani provided a spacious cabin with all you needed - kitchen, outdoor shower, laundry facilities and your own BBQ and patio. It really had everything. Staff were excellent and responsive. HIghly recommend for a self contained place to enjoy Broome.

We have stayed at the Mantra Frangipani on three previous occasions over the past 20 years. The location is great. A 20 minute walk to the beach, the bus stops outside and there’s plenty of parking if you have a car. There are also two pools. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for the first time but the layout and amenities are pretty standard. The outdoor shower is amazing. The villa we had this time was in very poor disrepair, most of the cupboards were warped, damaged and did not close in the kitchen. It was tired and in need of a spruce up.

It’s a bit tired and in need of some loving, but … what a magic place to stay. Located 10 minutes out of the town centre but has a bus stop at the front gate should you not have access to a vehicle. Generous sized bedroom and lounge/kitchen, both with ceiling fans and airconditioners. Kitchen is fitted out with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and cooktop. Also a washer/dryer and laundry trough to use. Your very own barbecue at your front door. Without a doubt though, my favourite part was the shower. If I could have packed that shower up and brought it home with me I would have. Magic! Would definitely stay at the Mantra Frangipani again.

Mantra Frangipani is a beautiful resort with a lovely garden setting. The one bedroom apt we stayed in was spacious and had a great view of one of the pools. There was a couch and dining table. It had an outdoor shower that was the best I’ve ever had. There was a dishwasher, washing machine (which I think was a dryer as well) and microwave. There was an almost new Webber on the lovely portico. I would absolutely recommend staying here.
