We loved the easy going atmosphere and the great location of the Mantra. Room was clean and well serviced every day. Really well priced considering it was a weekend booking. The cafe was really appreciated. Only 1 negative. The pillows were all the same and really fat.

We stayed on 3 occasions during our 3 weeks in Tasmania. Staff could not have Been more helpful and friendly. The accessible room provided the comfort, safety, circulation space, and accessible bathroom to ensure my husband enjoyed his stay. When we questioned a slightly noisy fridge the staff ensured we were given a different room. The location is amazing. So convenient to the waterfront, galleries, gardens, as well as the CBD for all shopping needs. We could walk to collect our hire car and the paid parking arrangements are very convenient. The room was spotless and laundry facilities very convenient and clean. I would recommend the Mantra on Collins and the staff to anyone requiring accessible accommodation or looking for a great place to stay in Hobart. Thank you very much to all staff.

The Mantra Collins is centrally located and within easy walking distance of Constitution Dock, Salamanca Markets, City Heart and the main bus stop for Red Deck Bus plus many more tourist sites and also good quality low cost meals. Ensure you read the parking information as it assists you greatly and parking whilst provided by an independent operator is easily accessed through a ground floor walkway. One of the greatest assets to this property is its staff and the enthusiasm and warm communication with guests. All staff had this great attitude. The rooms are a decent size for two people and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could not be faulted. My only grumble with the rooms was the pillows, no not the size or softness but the smell in two of four pillows. The smell continued even after the linen change. I would suggest that the pillows need replacing. Breakfast is good, whilst not a buffet, you have the opportunity to have a selected cooked breakfast rather then a bain marie buffet food. Apart from the above grumble, I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to stay, it is also very easy to get into and out of if you have a hire care and seeing the sites.

Went new years and a few days after. -Dirty -Mouldy -massively overpriced. -No fresh air -Lacking maintenance, poor cleaning never changed the sheets despite asking. -Bathroom floor was like a public toilet. wore shoes in the apartment as the carpet smelt and the bathroom tiles looked like theyd never ever been washed. -toilet seat slid around everywhere -shower head was literally the cheapest garbage one you can buy from bunnings and sprayed everywhere but straight, -Shower too small and soap dish dangerous, smacks into you while showering over bath, which is also slipery, screen for shower too short and water goes everywhere. -cheap bulk amenities that were both empty (soap) had to ask service to bring up two bottles. -Parking a total ripoff $18 overnight. So if your coming down for air like tourism tassy says, dont go to this place.

Hello Jay, We are certainly sorry that our property did not meet with your expectations in any way. As per our response to your recent review on another platform you were offered a room move due to your partners allergies. However you chose not to move. As advised at check in time we were unable to give you a higher floor room due to the lateness of your booking as other guests had booked earlier to obtain the better views. You were also offered a refund and a booking cancellation as you were not happy with the room views and you chose not to take up the offer. Sadly none of your house keeping concerns were mentioned nor discussed with us during your stay as this is certainly unusual for us. Prettige ontvangst door de receptie medewerker, mooie kamer op de bovenste verdieping met een prachtig uitzicht over de haven. Ontbijt was goed, geen buffet. Medewerkers attent en behulpzaam. Check out snel en goed
