excellent hotel located in the city center, close to many places for walking and sights of the city. Nearby is the best opera house in the world. Also, the best Italian restaurant is nearby, which is called Primi Italian ! I recommend everyone to visit here.

Mantra on Kent Sydney stays 3 x 2 nights

The actual stay was at the Mantra on Kent due to the Breakfree on Clarence being closed . I have stayed at this hotel before , It was a pleasure to return . The hotel commands an enviable position in the CBD , close to everything, the rooms are large and very comfortable , the brand new iron was a treat to use. I personally think that it's the staff that "make or break" a stay at any hotel , regardless of "Stars" . My experience started with a true Professional , Mr S Gupta from the Mantra at Parramatta , whom took control of my 3 x 2 night stays after the Breakfree on Clarence was closed and then made new bookings for me at the Mantra on Kent . I spoke to this gentleman personally on his private phone and I must add that it was on his own time , out of working hours , and he assured me that he would take care of everything and for me not to worry. To Mr S Gupta , Thankyou ! a true Professional & a gentleman ! . I must mention some of the exceptional staff at the Mantra on Kent all of them made me feel very welcome an valued , they truly are the "shining Stars " of this Hotel , Jerome - night Auditor , Eufemia Macri - Front Office Manager , Stella Marie Ong - Assistant Manager and all the other reception staff , Thanking all you for a very pleasant stay indeed !!

Booked in to stay a number of weeks ago. Called the day before to see if I could drop a bag off early and was told that the place is closed down at the moment. No one bothered to call me or message me to let me know. Was told someone should have called me about alternative accommodation being found for me but no one could tell me anything about it. Had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute.

E' un hotel situato in una posizione strategica, vicino alle principali attrazioni, ai centri commerciali ed al darling harbour. Il personale è molto gentile, le camere un po' piccole e con servizi da migliorare: in particolare il cambio dei filtri al condizionatore e la pulizia della moquette.

L'hotel è in posizione centralissima : Sydney è tutta a portata di passeggiata. La struttura è semplice, le camere piccole ma con tutto il necessario, il bagno pulito, la reception molto cortese. Alcune stanze dell'ultimo piano hanno solo una presa di luce dal soffitto (ho chiesto mi venisse cambiata perchè soffro di claustrofobia e non ci sono stati problemi). Considerando la spesa e la posizione, direi che non si possa chiedere di meglio ! Nelle strade adiacenti ci sono ristoranti e pub (Darling Harbour è sulla via parallela, il quartiere cinese ad un isolato di distaza), e posti dove fare colazione.
