Breakfree Aanuka Beach

The service was very very slow in the restaurant, got out entrees before we got our first drinks … All the facilities are great, the loos at the pools were very dirty. Our room was two story, the top part was air conditioned but down stairs were most of the living is was no air conditioning was not very comfortable in summer..

Nice overnight stay but they still seem to be short staffed and the hotel style rooms are looking a bit tired. Bar and dining room closed at 7:30pm on a Monday night so missed dinner after we arrived.

It was confusing finding the carpark and room (directions not that clear). The actual room was too far from the amenities for my liking. The room had no rubbish bin and you would think for the price it would include a complimentary bottle of water. On the positive the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The location just seemed too isolated for me.

Unfortunately, I'm still waiting to hear back from the resort, i have sent serval email with no communication back. We had to depart a week early due to a death in my family and spoke with the girl at front desk and she told me no manager is on duty and to send an email in to see what could be done for compensation for the week remaining. if I could get a response from the resort that would be fantastic it has been over a month. regards, John Frize

We recently stayed at Aanuka Beach Resort for my cousin's 50th birthday. The facility itself was good. Some of the rooms were better than others. Overall a very good experience. Helpful friendly staff. The indoor heated pool was not working and we were not notified of this and a few of the older family members were disappointed as was my immediate family as it was a plus for us travelling with our disabled son.
