Good stopover stay

Friendly staff, delicious food in the restaurant. Rooms clean and beds comfortable but showing signs of age and needed refresh. Hallway carpets need of replacement.

Uncomfortable stay but well located

I had a disappointing stay at the Albury Mercure. The mattress was far too soft, and the pillows were overly hard, making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The air conditioning system was outdated and ineffective, with dusty vents that didn’t help the situation. On top of that, the woman at the front desk was quite I don’t know I would say “rude” but at the same time “nice” weird experience , which added to the unpleasant experience. The only positives were the safe car park and the convenient location. However, these perks didn’t make up for the uncomfortable stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless some serious updates are made.
