The hotel smells musky throughout, and rooms were in need of repair, the temperature in the room wouldn’t set below 20 degrees which made it uncomfortable to sleep with the thick duvets. A large sign on the fridge invites you to enjoy the contents, however no water or anything else is provided. We walked out in the evening and on return the hotel driveway is unlit and therefore dangerous to walk along as a pedestrian, the car park also had overflowing bins. Upon grabbing a towel after showering I found brown stains on it so instead dried off with a hand towel. I alerted reception on my departure so they could remove the towel from use, however the staff member was disinterested.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever visited. The minute you enter, the atmosphere is so welcoming. The lobby area is spacious and comfortable with an area for kids to play and enjoy their time alongside a large babyfoot. There is also enough space for business people who want to work and the hotel management makes sure the ambiance is calm and quite to focus on work. I enjoyed working in the evening, with a nice drink from the bar. You can also enjoy a simple meal at the lounge, read a book or even meet people and mingle. The room was very comfortable and clean - very well maintained. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was super clean. You can enjoy a selection of shampoo and shower gel from Rituals! The doorways smell good. The whole hotel area is clean. I personally enjoyed the pool outside and the loungers. Breakfast was good... enough selection of food, constantly filling up what's missing. The first day it was super crowded and the waiters were not finding time to clean tables after people leave it. So this was taking a bit of time. More staff was needed on that day, but everything went well. The hotel has a huge parking area and electric chargers too. The hotel is super close to Walibi/Aqualibi, walking distance. You also have supermarkets, restaurants & fast food places nearby. The staff were always helpful be it with providing information or service. All in all, it was a great experience and definitely looking forward to another visit and stay at this Novotel Hotel with my family.

We stayed here whilst on a European road trip to multiple theme parks so stayed here for Walibi Belgium. The location was ideal for the park and could walk across the street. There was a supermarket near by along with some restaurants and shops. The hotel itself was fantastic - modern, comfortable. We had 3 of us in a room with a double bed and single sofa bed. There was plenty of room. The beds were comfortable and bathroom large and clean. Parking was free which was great, and seemed to be plenty of parking, especially if you have an EV. We'd definitely stay here again!

Excellent rooms, no evening food.

Pros: hotel rooms well appointed, and communal areas are spacious and modern. Cons: no evening food available, and were challenged when ordering food for delivery. When we arrived in the morning prior to our day at Walibi Belgium theme park, we asked at the reception desk whether there would be food served in the evening. The staff advised it was likely a buffet would be available. When returning to check in at 6:30pm, the staff told us no food was available. We went to our room, which was clean and well appointed, and returned to the bar area to order drinks and sit outside in the garden area. We then ordered pizza to be delivered. When the pizza arrived, bar staff/reception staff attempted to challenge us and say we had to eat it in our room and not outside. We advised that because there was no food available as previously advised, we wanted to eat our pizza with the drinks we had ordered and paid for. We were then told to take the packaging to our room as they were unable to dispose of it. For a chain hotel which is not at the bottom of the Accor chain, I am appalled there is no evening food availability and staff challenge guests when ordering food in. Despite the great rooms and pleasant communal area, food is a basic amenity that should be available or, at the very least, notified in advance not to be available.

A comfortable hotel with modern rooms and a good breakfast.

The hotel itself is nice and is well furnished with good sized, comfortable rooms. We stayed for one night going down to Bavaria and again on the way home. Check in was easy and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is fresh, modern and ideal for an overnight stop over. There are shops and restaurants a short walk away if needed, as no evening meal/food was available. My room on the way out was comfortable and clean with great in room facilities including a lovely walk in shower and nice comfy beds. Both shower heads were in dire need of descaling and the rainfall shower sprayed every which way but down meaning I couldn’t use it. The air con was an added plus and soon cooled the room down. All 3 rooms I had were the same layout and had the walk in shower with Rituals soaps/shampoo provided. Worryingly, on inspection in the room for my return journey I found a dead adult bed bug on the grey pull out futon chair. I saw this as soon as I lifted the cushion and there was also a dirty tissue inside the cushion case. This suggests cleaning staff had not checked that area very thoroughly as it was easy to spot. The actual bed was clean with no signs of other bugs, but I was not taking the risk and was moved rooms immediately. I always inspect rooms thoroughly in any hotel before bringing my luggage in for this exact reason. The reception were most helpful and moved me to the other side of the hotel straight away, but it did cause me a lot of anxiety and I had a poor nights sleep as a result. No one wants to find that in their room!! The second room provided was clean with no issues identified other than the shower heads needing descaling. The breakfast offered was tasty with a good choice of food items and drinks. Porterage was included in our package but I took my own luggage up and down to the rooms. The rooms had a nice large tv and plenty of channels to choose from. The adjustable floor light was nice to leave on at night for a bit of light in the room. I would recommend the hotel and would be willing to stay there again. Hopefully they will start offering evening meals as this will be a huge plus for weary travellers who don’t want to walk down a main road to get to a restaurant.
