This is a modern and clean little inn, just 5 or 6 minutes walk from the main railway station (easy to manage even with luggage). The place is clean and neat with modern facilities, an excellent shower and even a massage chair in-room. I opted for a room with a window, as I dare say the rooms without might be a bit gloomy. The toiletries are of good quality and even the slippers changed each day. The elevator / lift is a bit rickety but manages OK. Staff are businesslike and welcoming. Didn't opt for berakfast, as Satrbucks, McDonalds and Costa Coffee a short walk away in the railways station. This is a great place to use as a base for explorinf Nanjing, as the sybway is also very nearby, and there is a convenience store on the same block.

Ibis Style Nanjing is located conveniently opposite Nanjing South Railway Station, 3 mins walking distance. It has a cosy 1st floor lobby and occupies the entire 6th floor of the building (in between co-sharing with 2 other motels on different levels). Cleanliness: 4/5 Location: 5/5 (3 mins to Railway & Metro Station) Value for Money: 5/5 (RMB 300 - 500/night) The only downside of this hotel, is the lift. There is only 1 lift serving the building (up to 6 person capacity load). Checking out at noon will have to wait a quite a while. There is 2 convenient stores beside the hotel, and a few shop selling food. McD/KFC/Starbucks/Yonghe can be found at the railway station.
