This was my first time in the Sofitel, hotel for a business trip. Being an Opera Singer and way from home, from months at the time, staying in the Sofitel, was a fabulous experience. The breakfast was delicious and out of this world!!! The French chef, Mikael Robin, was always there and attentive. He is the best in his field without a doubt. Absolutely brilliant chef!!! The staff were outstanding and very polite and friendly. I had such a great time, that I am planning a vacation soon and stay at the Sofitel Hotel again. I highly recommend!!! I will be definitely going back and enjoying this wonderful hotel.

Great stay in Seoul en route to Sydney. Amazing welcome from staff at ground level. As Diamond member whisked straight up to very nice Club lounge on 32nd floor. Very well staffed and most welcoming. Excellent room with views over the lake. Next door to large shopping mall. Sits on top of key subway station. Easy subway ride to main tourist sites. Very happy overall.

Overall experience was really great! Staff were friendly, Liam and Tera were the best! They were genuine and helpful. Will definitely come back and stay here again. The facility of the hotel is top notch also the location is so great and convenient!

Everything has been perfect from start to finish. A lot of attention to detail at all levels, blending a Korean and French touch (decorations, outfits of personnel, food etc). The welcome gift was lovely and the room stunning. I will definitely be back on my next business trip in Seoul.

Our family stayed at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel and Serviced Residences for 5 days, booking 5 rooms for the whole family. The experience was absolutely wonderful—this hotel truly has everything you could ask for! The location is unbeatable, with Lotte World right next door and a Starbucks conveniently across the concierge. Dining options were plentiful, with restaurants spanning Basement, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, offering a wide variety of delicious cuisine. The beautifully designed rooms and luxurious amenities exceeded our expectations, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. A huge shoutout to Selena at the front desk for her exceptional service. Her warm personality, attention to detail, and genuine care ensured a smooth and stress-free experience. Selena’s hospitality truly stood out and made us feel incredibly welcome. However, the breakfast experience was disappointing. The atmosphere felt chaotic and rushed, with overwhelmed staff and unwelcoming managers. Guests were expected to finish within one hour, making it difficult to enjoy the meal, especially at a premium price. Drinks like coffee and hot chocolate were often served cold, and the ambiance felt more like a busy market than a relaxing breakfast. Suggestions for Improvement: 1. Allow guests more time to enjoy their breakfast. 2. Train staff to provide a more welcoming and accommodating environment. 3. Serve beverages at the proper temperature. Despite the breakfast issues, we highly recommend Sofitel Ambassador Seoul for its excellent service, prime location, and unparalleled comfort. Thank you, Selena, and the entire team for making our family vacation so memorable. With a few improvements to breakfast, this hotel could easily be perfect for families and travelers alike. We can’t wait to return!
