very polite staff. Pleasant check in. Staff helped me with adaptor readily. Excellent breakfast for a four star hotel. Very lavish spread. Good options for vegetarians. Very close to airport. Very neat and spacious room. I would recommend strongly.

Very efficient and pleasant staff at the reception for the check-in downstairs. As an ALL platinum member, I was upgraded upon check-in. The room was large, conveniently furnished and quiet through the night. As I had an early departure, I took a taxi to get to the airport (5min ride) as the hotel is not exactly at the airport (22min by walk).

Because of the sleep, park and fly option we had booked ibis next door, but ibis had no food option (July 23) at least not in the evening! We were told to go next door to novotel to have dinner (same company). Novotel is kind of a fast food/canteen style place, no ambience, loud, partly self service!? (dinner! You order from a menu and get a buzzer to get up if food is ready and collect it at a counter 😖). Bad price/quality ratio. You pay a lot for mediocre industrial, reheated, not spiced etc ... convenience food. No thank you, Nein Danke, non merci...

OK but not 4 stars.

Not bad, but never 4 stars. Soap was missing in the bathroom and room was always made but never properly, bed was always poorly made. In my opinion the worst hotel I have staid in the Accor Group. More in the standard of an Ibis Hotel than a Novotel.

Was booked into this accommodation for work. Check in was easy. The room was comfortable and clean. Probably not the best location. The bar area was good and the staff in the bar were very good. However, my biggest problem is the lack of assistance to people with allergies, myself included. Which really surprised me, I would have thought a hotel so close to the airport and of such a large brand would be better prepared. In the evening on arrival myself and a colleague went to the restaurant and as I have a gluten allergy my colleague in German requested an allergen menu, or asked which items on the menu were safe for me, but the server did not know. They disappeared to the kitchen and came back and pointed only at the salmon, which when it arrived had a “crust” which looked suspiciously like breadcrumbs. I largely stuck to the rice and salad and avoided the salmon. At breakfast, which is a buffet, I was also surprised to find that there was no signage about allergies with any of the items and staff were nowhere to be found to ask. So I stuck to eggs and fruit. Lastly. Two weeks prior to my stay I emailed the email address advertised on the website requesting allergen information in advance so that I could be prepared to try to avoid the above scenarios, I never received a response. On my next business trip to Düsseldorf, I will try to stay elsewhere and would not recommend.
