Due to the terrible storms in the US with all the cancellations our flight back from Rio to North Carolina was delayed for four days. Delta was excellent and sponsored our stay at the Novotel hotel in Copacabana. Because our vouchers paid for food in the hotel, we had to eat in the hotel and the food was excellent. After being on a cruise ship for 23 days, we’re a little tired of the beef, but the Brazilian beef was very flavorful with outstanding preparation. Our server in the restaurant tonight Mila was very good. There were some customers who were demanding more tables and she got us a table and was quite authoritative, and it worked up best for both parties.

Wonderful Caesar’s salad! Hubby had a fish and shrimp entree ending with a milk pudding (flan) which he said was to die for. Cloudia was our server and understood us even though we do not speak Portuguese and she rendered great service!

Amazing experience and service provided. The room and bed was super super comfy and spacious. We felt so welcome and it was a very warm atmosphere here even the security guards looked after us too. Lucas was so helpful and kind!! Thank you all so much. There was another lady I forget her name but she was so helpful and made my birthday really special. All the staff overall were so kind and made the visit so comfortable. I really liked the rooftop bar and the views day and night, we went multiple times during our stay. I really recommend staying here we came all the way from London. My only issue I had was with the staff for room service which was abit uncomfortable and awkward. Overall it was a very comfortable stay
