Angsana Velavaru

Irey was the one keeping our villa clean and in pristine condition. The staff around the villa and island are also very friendly whenever they see us making our day a lot more welcoming. The guy (can’t recall his name) at the bird feeder was also very knowledgeable about the love birds and how to attract them. Overall, we had a great and enjoyable time!

I truly recommend Angsana Velavaru to everyone no matter family, couple or honeymoon. I stay at in ocean villa for 5D4N. The villa, view and service is fantastic. We enjoy the food at Azzurro and Kanni restaurant, Fayaz and Laila provide us a very good service and food recommendation. They always put smile on and polite. There are few activity included in our package. 1) sunset cruise - basically is a cruise the ride u on ocean during sunset time. Please go to upstair to get the best experience 2) night fishing - if u r lucky and got some fish, u can request to cook at any restaurants for free. U can choose shashimi, grill or BBQ. 3) floating tea - good for photo taking. Snorkeling also available but u need to pass the basic test to swim with fin in 3m depth sea. I didn’t pass the test as both of me and my wife duno how to swim. End up we sign up a snorkeling class and Amed (sorry if I spell ur name wrongly, is a handsome guy) give us a very good guidance. He give a detail explanation in both english and madarin. Beside the training, u also will get a 2hr snorkeling with his guide. You can help full snorkeling experience even u r beginner and duno how to swim. The experience is good as it only organise in small group of 2-6 persons. Overall, Angsana Velavaru is a good choice if u wanted to visit Maldives. I think the CP value is above average.

First time travellers to The Maldives and had been warned to take plenty of books as there isn't much to do. Well not much to do except the lovely spa, floating in the exceptionally warm seats, skinny dipping in your own private pool or lying on your very own loungers with brolly. Then there was eating 3 times per day with a buffet to suit every taste and the all day dining at the bar with exceptional service, not to mention afternoon tea daily. Then nothing to do but try out the free kayaking or snorkelling (once the safety checks and competency assessed). Alternatively you could retire to your beautiful beachside villa, sit in the shade and marvel at the quiet - how about bathing in your outside bathroom in a bath big enough for 2? Then there are the daily activities in the evening including a film night, sat outside, under the stars with a glass of wine in one hand and popcorn in the other. Sunrise at 6am - warm enough to take your coffee outside and watch the sea, lapping gently on the shore. Sunil was our lovely, lovely waiter at the beach bar, he remembered what we drank and how we liked it and Appa in the buffet restaurant who has a personal pride in getting it right for the customers. We loved the sandy floors - in reception, in the bar and in the buffet and bare feet was pretty much de-rigueur! And the food - my goodness the food was just such a high standard, beautifully prepared and presented with such variety of deliciousness every day. So yes, nothing to do.....but we certainly filled 12 nights without any difficulty and loved it.

Good view , quiet and beautiful, service is wonderful . Sophie is a such good worker there , help us get the medicine when I get hurt and sent to our room . She gave us really nice service and feeling like family , polite and patient. The food is good

The accommodation is lovely, the food amazing and the staff superb. Nasru kept our room beautifully clean and tidy and the messages left on the bed were adorable. A beautiful island and such kind and caring people looking after us. I can’t wait to return.
