Dhawa Ihuru

Dhawa Ihuru is an absolutely beautiful, magical place to escape. It has a very family-friendly, “alive” vibe. There is so much to see and do. Special mention to the amazing coral reef, lovely food selection and the art classes by Abdulla. He helped me make the most wonderful epoxy art with a turtle to commemorate my first time swimming with one. He took the time to make sure it looked “just right” while also including personal touches and ensuring that it was truly, uniquely mine. Highly recommend.

Chris is very professional and responsible instructor. Also, she taught me many snorkeling skills and very considerate about me since I’m not good at swimming. She made me feel very safe and she’s very trustable. Thus, I’ve learned how to snorkeling in correct way and saw many nice fishes in Maldives I also very grateful that Elena had recommend me a very professional instructor and can speak Chinese and . In addition, she is very detailed oriented and introduced all events that I can join. Lastly,I appreciate what Chris and Elena did to make my Maldives trip unforgettable and memorable. The snorkeling environment here is superb and recommend people who loves to snorkeling.

We came to Maldives for the first time and this resort was amazing, the staff, Rohit, Shkab, Afrah, Ziyad & Sujina at the restaurant who took care of our every meal, Abdullah at the art workshop who taught us how to carve and gifted us a framed souvenir & even the hotel manager Abdullah Simaad who arranged our late hotel transfer to the airport are super supportive and friendly ALL the time, like you always feel welcome and taken care of, it was a proper holiday truly relaxed and winded off. The beach at our Villa was exclusive, you can hear the waves crashing on one another while you dose off to sleep, and in the morning the corals are all around this island, snorkeling was like entering another world, so beautiful. We highly recommend, the villa was super clean and always felt like our home away from home. The island Wi-Fi is amazing, the reef was so abundant with sea life and you do not need to even swim far. The food was so fresh that at one moment you snorkel and see fish and at dinner you get the freshest grilled fish there is. Everything about this place is amazing. Worth a visit

It’s already my 2nd visit to Ihuru, I couldn’t forget about the amazing snorkeling environment since I left Ihuru less than a year ago so I decided to be back with my family. Despite the snorkeling environment, the service here is another reason why I’d love to be back. I’m surprised the front desk Julia still can recognizes me and she’s friendly as usual. And this time another amazing lady Elena made me a very good impression. Elena is a great person, she is enthusiastic, helpful and caring. Thou she is not a butler but she helped us even better than some butlers from other resorts. My aunties cannot speak English, so Elena helped them a lot with translation and she provided Chinese menu for us to make my life easier haha. Also she’d introduce daily activities in Chinese to help my aunties to understand and explore the resort better while I was absent. Also, the chef at egg station is a very nice person, he made my 11 yo niece a paper flower and she was really happy about that. Also she loved the whale shark toy very much. I’m looking forward to visiting Ihuru again in the near future.

+ Short distances to food, swim, bar + a lot of parrots + fresh juice at breakfast + nice cocktails (especially see breeze)😍 + a chance to visit a nearby hotel Banyan tree + short transfer from airport - the reef is not so good as described🥺 P.S. the best cocktail is «see breeze» prepared by Shakaba, Afraah and Rohit, thanks to them I finally found the most delicious cocktail on the menu!!🥂
