Amazing Honeymoon Experience

We had a fantastic honeymoon at the Banyan Tree! The staff was exceptional, and we’d like to give a special thanks to Fipit, Liu, and Saheed for making our stay so memorable. The island is stunning, the service is impeccable, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful touches from the hotel to celebrate our honeymoon. The only downside was the meal plan. No matter if you are half board, full board, or all-inclusive customers, the included menu items in the thai and japanese restaurants felt quite limited and all other choices in the menu came at a hefty supplement (15 to 30 USD per item). This was a bit disappointing, as we expected access to the full menu without additional charges like it’s the case in many other upscale resorts in the Maldives. That said, everything else was amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway on a beautiful island conveniently located near Male.

We had a fabulous relaxing week, everything was perfect. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There are a great range of dining options and villas are luxurious. We enjoyed a night fishing trip and having the fish served an hour later for our evening meal.

We had the most amazing 5 days at the Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru. The staff (particularly Ali and Liu!) are wonderful and go out of their way to make sure that every little detail is taken care of from the moment you arrive at the airport. The Banyan Tree’s commitment to sustainability and understated luxury sets it apart from other hotels in the Maldives - everything on the island feels natural and authentic. We were also interested to learn more at the new Marine Centre about their efforts to restore the beautiful coral reef which surrounds the island. The most peaceful and stunning place we have ever stayed!

had a wonderful Trip. food was exceptional!! staffs helpful and very nice. our villa was cosy and had everything we could ask for. madihiya restaurant is so beautiful with the infinity pool over looking the ocean. one of the most beautiful restaurants i have been to. definitely going back again soon!

The property looks absolutely stunning with the addition of the new Madi Hiya, Saffron, and Sangu Garden. The rooms, now furnished with fresh pieces, enhance the overall ambiance, and the updated pool area is lovely. I particularly appreciate the local corner—it’s beautifully presented and offers guests a wealth of informative and eye-opening details.
