Great Hotel, But Poor Service After a Serious Incident

Dear Valued Guest. Once again – I am truly sorry for the inconvenience you had to go through due to the unexpected allergic reaction of your son after consuming popular, international branded chocolate products which did not indicate any peanuts on the ingredients list as well as our homemade almond cookie which also did not contain peanuts based on our production standard. We have taken immediate action and re-trained our team to strongly recommend parents and guests to not consume products that may contain smallest traces of peanuts - although there are actually no peanuts inside the product as per ingredients list. An unintentional cross-contamination during the production process cannot be completley ruled out. In case of any uncertainty in combination with a severe allergy to peanuts or any other intolerances it is recommended to refrain from consuming any of those potentially high risk food items since only the smallest trace of the allergen may cause allergic reactions. Our past experience at the front desk on this subject was unfortunately not strong enough to give you the right recommendation and could not prevent you from this incident to happen.
