Wir sind Wiederkehrer und zum vierten mal im Banyan Tree Samui und können nur sagen das es ein perfektes Hotel mit top Service ist . Wir fühlten uns wie immer gut aufgehoben und sehr wohl. Das Banyan Tree Team ist einfach super und lässt keine Wünsche offen . Alle Villen sind super ausgestattet und verfügen über einen Pool . Sie sind wunderschön in die Landschaft eingefügt mit sehr viel Grün. Wir haben in den vielen Jahren auf Koh Samui viele 5 Sterne Hotels besucht aber das BanyanTree ist eines der exklusivsten Hotels auf der Insel . Das Frühstück sowie auch das Beach Restaurant ist ein Highlight. Wir können das BBQ in der Villa sehr empfehlen wo man ein "Privates Grill BBQ "auf der Terrasse seiner Villa bekommt und wo uns Mr. Tu unser Koch mit kulinarischen Leckereien verwöhnt hat . Die Qualität des Essens ist auf ein hohes Niveau. Wir danken dem ganzem Team und wollten noch die Mitarbeiter erwähnen die uns besonders aufgefallen sind wie z.B. der Deutsche Küchenchef Reiner .Danke nochmal an Mrs Apple / Mrs Koy / Mr Animesh / Mr Mra / Koch Mr TU und John / Mrs Luna / Mr Tle und Mrs Chan die für uns persönlich zuständig war und ein dickes Dankeschön an Mrs Mod vom House Keeping die uns immer wieder mit einer Kleinigkeit in der Villa überrascht hat und sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben hat .Ein weiteres Dankeschön geht an den Manager Remko Kroesen der uns vor 2 Jahren das Banyan Tree auf Krabi empfohlen hat dass wir dieses Jahr besucht haben und sehr begeistert waren .Wir freuen uns schon auf ein Wiedersehen im nächsten Jahr .... Perfekter Urlaub!

Wir waren im August 2025 im Banyan Tree Koh Samui. Wir kamen am Hotel an und wurden sehr herzlich mit einem Willkommensgetränk, kalten Tüchern und einer Lotusblume begrüßt. Und dazu der unfassbare Ausblick auf den Strand und das Meer...! Unser Host "Nicha" stellte sich uns vor und wir tauschten Handynummern aus, um später so alles mögliche zu besprechen bzw. zu planen. Das hat auch immer mehr als nur gut geklappt! Von Restaurantreservierungen über Vorschläge für Aktivitäten und Buchungen von Taxis war alles dabei. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Villa mit teilweise Meerblick. Die Aufteilung war für uns (Pärchen mit 13-jährigem Sohn) perfekt. Es gab für jeden Rückzugsmöglichkeiten und das Highlight: man konnte den privaten Pool von jedem Zimmer aus begehen. Am einem Nachmittag gab es bei einem Nachbargrundstück Bauarbeiten. Wir haben abends nur ganz höflich gefragt, ob das bekannt wäre und ob sie wissen, wie lange diese andauern. Man wusste bereits Bescheid und sagte uns, dass man es leider nicht genau sagen könne, wir aber am nächsten Tag gerne schauen können, ob sie noch weiterarbeiten. Am nächsten Morgen standen wir für einen Ausflug schon Recht früh an der Lobby und warteten auf die Abholung, als unser Host "Nicha" kam und fragte, ob wir schon gepackt haben. Es würde bereits alles soweit angestoßen, dass wir in eine andere Villa - mit kostenfreien Upgrade (privater Whirlpool und größer) - umziehen konnten. Und das sogar, obwohl die Baustelle doch nicht weiter gibg. Da wir es allerdings zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nicht wussten, hat Nicha mit ihrem Manager unsere Sachen zusammengepackt, sodass wir den geplanten Ausflug wahrnehmen konnten. Nochmal Hut ab für diese unglaubliche Flexibilität und Entgegkommen!! Zu den Restaurants: Wir waren von allen drei Restaurants (Frühstück, Beach Restaurant und Saffron) begeistert. Auch der Personalchef aller Restaurants "Rainer" war sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hat auch gerne etwas empfohlen. Frühstück: Es gab eine riesen Auswahl, wo für jeden etwas dabei war und täglich wechselnd. Es gab eine Eierstation, wo man sich alles mögliche aussuchen konnte. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Thai Omelett! Zudem gab es auch eine Station, wo man sich Roti (regionale Pfannkuchen) machen lassen konnte. Wir waren meist recht früh dran und hatten daher immer eine große Auswahl an Plätzen. Beach Restaurant: Jedes Essen super lecker und sehr guter Service! Man wurde sogar oft gefragt, ob der Schärfegrad OK ist. Sehr zu empfehlen ist samstags das Barbecue und auch das Menü mit dem heißen Stein. Saffron: wir waren einen Abend im Saffron. Auch dieses Restaurant ist sehr weiter zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns für das Menü entschieden und haben es tatsächlich nicht ganz aufessen können, weil die Portionen recht groß waren. Auch hier war der Service sehr gut! Wenn es die Tagestouren zuließen, wir abends vorm Essen noch bei der  Happy Hour in der Lobby Lounge. Die Am war hier meistens (genauso wie morgens beim Frühstück). Sie hat schon immer gleich gewusst, was wir wollten. Top Service und super nett! Eines unserer Highlights war die Thai-Massage. Erst bekommt man einen Willkommensgetränk und man muss dann auswählen, ob und welches Öl, welchen Stärkegrad, welchen Duft man haben möchte. Desweiteren konnte man auswählen welche Stellen massiert werden sollen und welche Tabu sind. Sollte man unserer Meinung mach unbedingt ausprobieren! Besonders hervorzuheben ist noch, dass man am Strand und dem Gemeinschaftspool immer Platz gefunden hat, man seine Handtücher direkt dorthin gebracht bekommen hat und es wurde immer darauf geachtet, dass man Wasser mit Eis und kalte Tücher (alles kostenfrei) an seinem Platz hatte. An einem Tag haben wir den Sense of Nature Walk mit "Jate" gemacht. Er hat uns eine Stunde durch die Hotelanlage geführt und hat uns sehr viel über die dortigen Pflanzen- und Tierwelt erklärt. Auch das war sehr toll und informativ. Der 13-jährige hat an unserem vorletzten Tag das exklusive Thai-Box Training mit "Rang" ausprobiert. Das hat ihm so viel Spaß gemacht, dass er es am nächsten Tag gleich noch einmal gebucht hat.  Außerdem hat er sich mit dem Koch "Sudip" angefreundet. Und er hat ihn super an das dortige Essen herangeführt. Last but Not least war auch die Reinigungskraft "Mai" immer auf Zack und hat sogar nachgefragt, ob alles passt oder wir noch etwas brauchen.  Alles in allem war für uns der perfekte Urlaub und wir kommen irgendwann sehr gerne wieder!

Wir waren als 4 Köpfige Familie letzte Woche für insgesamt fünf Nächte im Banyon Tree Samui. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter sehr nett. Für die Zeit des Aufenthalts haben wir vier mal im Saffron gegessen. Sehr leckeres Thai-Essen und die Mitarbeiter (Seven, Kwan, O-cha, Diamond, Melon und Kookkai) waren so herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden definitiv wieder zurückkommen!

Eine meiner besten Hotelerfahrungen. Wunderschöne und geräumige Villa . Sehr sauber , gemütlich eingerichtet mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten. Täglich frisches Obst, Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine mit verschiedenen Tee- und Kaffeevariationen. Gut gefüllte Minibar. Room Service kommt zwei mal täglich und richtet die Villa. Jeden Tag eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit (Cremes, Kekse, Duftöle , Souvenirs) . Extrem freundliches Personal . Das Frühstück mit einer großen Auswahl an lokalen Spezialitäten aber auch eine üppige internationale Auswahl. Die Lage etwas abgelegen von den touristischen Hotspots. Fußläufig geht nicht viel . Der Taxiservice ist aber zuverlässig. Der Privatstrand ist sehr hübsch anzusehen. Rundumversorgung mit Wasser , Erfrischungsspray und kalten Waschlappen. Stranbar /Restaurant für den großen ud kleinen Hunger. Schnorchelausrüstung , Stand up Paddeling und Kajak umsonst. Einziges Manko : der Strand bzw Zugang zum Meer xrrem steinig. Vorsicht ! Man kann bei großen Steinen abrutschen und sich verletzen. Alles in allem eine wunderschöne Anlage und ein sehr angenehmer Urlaub !

While our beach does have rocks in the seabed, common terrain in most bays on Samui, we do provide protective shoes for our guests should they care to take this precautionary measure while they swim and have a few channels that make it easy to access the deeper areas just off the shore. In recent years, these rocks were covered with sand, but the conditions changed after a recent tropical storm. We hope that with the monsoon season later this year that the conditions may return to their usual state and provide an enhanced experience for our guests.
