I always like to stay in Rixos hotels around the world when travelling for work as you always know the hotel will be nice, the service and staff will always be good and the food will be above average for a hotel chain. But this hotel went above and beyond. The staff from check in to check were always so friendly and helpful. I did not meet or see one member of staff across 4 days that did not have a smile on their face. The hotel itself is beautiful and at night the views special. Breakfast was good and they make a lovely omelette. I just cannot fault any area at all. If you are going to Dubrovnik then book this hotel.

This is a fantastic place to stay when in Dubrovnik. The breakfast is excellent with different varieties of food. Shiba prepared the best omelette for me and my wife every morning. They have a pianist performing while having breakfast (on Friday). Perfect golden hour view from the hotel. Overall, this is definitely a go to hotel when visiting Dubrovnik and I’d highly recommend!

Just returned after a fantastic week , From arrival to checkout the service was top notch. We had a sea view room which had amazing views ,we could watch the cable car going up and down and was lit in the evenings. Food was of a very high standard best we've ever experienced on a holiday the desserts were beautifully presented. The view from the massive glass window in the lobby was like a picture postcard. Any issue we had were resolved,didn't have to ask twice. We used the indoor pool many times which was always pretty quiet. Our son loved the addition of the footie tables and table tennis. In the evenings we would sit and listen to the beautiful pianist in the lobby area which was dimmed which made it more cosy and relaxed. Our son loved the pool tables He would rush to try and get a table ,he learnt how to play here. The sports bar is a great place to sit and watch live sports. My son and husband are crystal palace fans ,we got talking to Domagoj ,ie part of the sports bar management, He was so lovely and friendly who took time getting to know us,we donated a CPFC scarf for the sports bar which was placed up for us to enjoy . On the listings of what was on in the sports bar there was a special mention to our son Joel a thankyou for donating the scarf,this made his day . On leaving said hotel he came and spent some time with us , We got on the bus back to the airport when Domagoj appeared with some leaving gifts for us that was really special . Also a special thanks to the cleaning team who are very friendly and don't stop ,always on a mission . We will return again sometime in the near future. Thankyou team Rixos

A perfect stay

We stayed for 3 nights, celebrating my husbands 50th birthday. We were very kindly upgraded to a room with a large balcony and also received a bottle of wine and birthday cake which was a lovely touch. The room was great, especially the balcony with sun-beds, and the bed extremely comfortable . We didn’t really use the facilities at the hotel as spent most of our trip sightseeing, but the indoor and outdoor pool areas looked lovely and the views from the lobby bar are spectacular. The breakfast buffet was extensive and of excellent quality. We experienced great customer service throughout our stay and would definitely recommend the Rixos. It is only a 20 minute walk into old town so is perfectly situated.
