Wow…lovely room with the best seaview we have ever had. Wow….across the whole 11 days without exception the staff were fantastic-very attentive and pleasant. Wow…the food. We stayed B&B and you have to experience the breakfast. Both hot and cold buffet choice was outstanding. There was nothing you couldn’t get and the option to eat on the terrace with those views again. Wow …..the pool area with bar and direct access to the sea via steps was great. Plenty of sunbeds and parasols and the large pool was great for cooling off. The hotel has a well appointed Gym and Spa which we didn’t experience so can’t Wow them but I am sure they will match the other facilities in quality. The hotel is located approx 20 minutes from the old town by foot and the number 4 bus route shuttles between the old town to Lapad and back at very regular intervals until late the cost of which is 2.5 euros per ride and stops nearby. Fantastic hotel

Went to Rixos Dubrovnik from August 29-September 4 , 2024, The pace was lovely, clean, courteous, food was excellent, restaurant staff.. Milos and Srdan were polite quick and easy, reception staff Karlo was very accommodating and helpful, and special mention to Gym yoga instructor Maria T. Who was professional, always helpful, when I wanted to play ping pong, but had no other player she volunteered and every morning I enjoyed ping pong games!

Fabulous spot about a 10 - 15 min walk from Old Town Dubrovnik right on the Adriatic. Delivers on everything - facility, food, service. Great deck and pool are right on the Adriatic. Plenty of seats and umbrellas with a bar/lunch place right there. Nice big room with a balcony and fabulous sea view (ask for a higher floor for the view). Service was great - desk staff, cleaning staff, bar and restaurant. Try the great little chocolates they have out. Big breakfast buffet every morning. Very good dinner buffet as well - we did that 2 nights after being out and about all day. Little mix up at check in - when you get your confirmation the payment lags 3 days - so check and make sure payment goes through - but they sorted it all out for us. Anyway a great high end beach resort - totally recommend.

Stunning views of Aegean — 15 min walk into Old Town

Beautiful Hotel. Stunning views of the sea. Excellent service — truly 5 star and I never say that. Staff was all very friendly and helpful especially Sami the reservation manager (see below). 15 min walk into old town. Easy to get an Uber or taxi into town or back if you want one. Modern rooms & furnishings. Delicious breakfast & dinner buffets on a high balcony with gorgeous views of the Aegean. Wooden “beach” deck has enough lounge chairs for everyone to relax and enjoy a swim in the ocean or pool. Fabulous hotel. I would love to visit again! One warning — this is really a problem with All Accor Live which is the booking service that the hotel uses and is not a problem with the actual Rixos hotel or its staff. Be aware that the “confirmation” you receive from All Accor Live is not a true confirmation. We received a “confirmed” reservation with a “confirmation number” then got to the hotel only to find that we had no reservation at all and the type of room that we wanted was all booked. All Accor did send us an email telling us that our reservation had been cancelled, so I must have missed that email, but I thought our reservation was confirmed so I wasn’t looking for any additional emails from them. This is where Sami the reservation manager at Rixos really helped us out. He found us a nice room which was available for 1 night so that we at least had a place to stay that night. Then the next day he worked to move things around so we could stay in our room for the rest of the week. Sami was so nice about everything. We sincerely appreciate his help and ended up enjoying our vacation and our stay at Rixos very much.

30th trip with toddler

Just visited with our 2 year old toddler. Lovely hotel with a great sea view room. Room was lovely and plenty of room with travel cot provided. We asked for sunbeds on our balcony so we could sunbath while she had her nap in the day which was great. The big pool is great and not too deep but the small kids pool is absolutely freezing cold not like the main pool, which is a shame because it was perfect for her to walk around in. Never a problem to get a sunbed by the pool. The pool bar area was the best area for drinks and service was 10/10. There is sea access but not child friendly in my opinion to get in and out. We went bed and breakfast, breakfast was great lots of options. We did have the Buffett dinner twice which was very good but at a cost of €55 per adult. The food costs by the pool were also very expensive €25 for a salad. Also had no kids menu which was annoying- ended up paying €24 for a cheese pizza for her just to eat 3 slices. The best bar area is the pool bar. We wished this stayed open all evening, the sports bar is completely empty and boiling hot and also the lobby terrace is so hot it's uncomfortable and also no smoking area so lots of cigar smokers all round. The hotel is pretty boring in the evening this is something that could be improved on. There is a kids play room by the restaurant which is great for them to burn some energy The location is great 5 min taxi €5 to old town and 5 min taxi to lapad €5 - use Uber don't use local taxi they are triple the cost We recommend dinner at incredible India and azur in the old town both delicious. The gym is also very good and the indoor spa is the best spa I've ever seen it is amazing. The lifts are also slow at peak times. And you can't get anywhere from the pool area without a card - not even to the lobby Overall we loved our stay and would definitely return just a few things that need to be improved on. The cost of food and drinks in Dubrovnik overall is expensive but at the hotel some things are just over the top
