The location of Rixos Dubrovnik is absolutely perfect, with a breathtaking view of the sea that you can enjoy from almost anywhere in the hotel. It’s the ideal place to relax and take in the natural beauty of the Adriatic coast. In the evenings, the atmosphere becomes lively and fun with games and championships held at the Sport Bar. The experience is made even better with excellent drinks and great service. A fantastic combination of luxury, entertainment, and unforgettable views!

I was looking for a place in Dubrovnik for a week of rest and relaxation following the TCS London Marathon and Rixos did not disappoint! The staff was outstanding - at checkin, in the restaurants, at the pool deck and the housekeeping staff. All made us feel very welcomed. The rooms were very spacious, with a beautiful furnished patio overlooking the Adriatic...morning coffee out there was an absolute treat! The views from the rooms and lounge area are simply breathtaking. The pool area was beautiful with plenty of comforrable loungers. Easy access to the sea, via stairs, was wonderful. Ocean was amazingly refreshing. Food in the lounge was very good. We especially enjoyed the evening dinner buffet. The seafood was fresh and beautifully prepared (octopus, oysters, muscles sea bream, salmon etc). Breakfast buffet was very good with plenry of options. Coffee service was a little slow for 2 of the 7 mornings, but it was also very busy. The proximity to the Old Town was super convenient, an easy 10-15 minute walk to exploring the Old Town. We also had dinner 2-3 times in the Old Town and enjoyed our leiaurely strolls back to Rixos. However, for our hike to Mt. Srd, we took an Uber to the trailhead. Kayaking in Duvrovnik.is also a must! Highly recommend Rixos when visiting Dubrovnik.

Disappointing. Avoid.

Went for a special anniversary. We were not informed of the extensive building work taking place at the time of visiting. It wasn't the 5 star experience we were expecting. Our room was like a sauna so we were eventually moved after they told us they were "fixing the air con", until they finally admitted actually the heating was on. They totally missed our anniversary so there was no special celebration from the hotel, until I emailed that night to ask if the message had been got lost. On returning to the UK, I made a complaint to TUI for the disruption to our holiday from the building work, I was told that the hotel were going to refund our dinner cost for the first night. They have not. The hotel has since lied and said they already discounted the 90 euros and didn't charge us despite me having the invoice and card receipt for the payment. The hotel are now ignoring all my emails. It is thoroughly disappointing, a dishonest hotel chain. Avoid. I've added some photos, I also have a video showing the drilling noise and dust we experienced on the sundeck and from our room.

Truly a 5 star hotel with best breakfast buffet ever. I really loved this hotel. Everything about it was top notch. The quality of the pastries in the buffet, the butter, the honey, fruit and amazing breads. It was the best buffet breakfast I have ever been to. Amazing coffee too. Lovely attentive waiting staff too. The sun beds are also super comfortable. The towels large and fab quality. The views stunning. Rooms large and beds super comfy even the rollaway. We were really spoiled here and it will be hard to stay in other hotels after this one. The walk into Dubrovnik is about 20 mins down hill and very scenic with a short bus ride back. Very expensive to eat in hotel. €55 for evening buffet each but lots of eateries nearby.
