My wife and I stayed here for a weekend. We stayed in room 309 which was fine for the weekend but a little small and had a very cold bathroom with no way of heating the room. We liked the reception and breakfast/common area which was very welcoming and had a friendly vibe about it. There was also unlimited tea/coffee and a comfortable couch. Breakfast was a buffet help yourself and was good, lots to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location minutes from bars/restaurants and shops. The £280 for the weekend didn’t feel like value for money but I suppose that’s just the price of budget hotels these days. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

Very clean and stylish hotel in a great location for business and leisure travel. Decent breakfast and really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are well decorated, modern and of a good size. I will definitely use this hotel again when I am in Glasgow next

Hotel was quiet, clean, basic, and not bad value for a city centre hotel, £93 per night. Room was a bit shabby, needing decorated, however it was clean. Would use the hotel again, the reception were helpful and the car park round the corner was just £8 for the 24 hours.

The hotel is in a good location, on a fairly quiet road (pub and bar wise) but an easy walk to the centre and the train station. The staff were very friendly, check-in quick and easy. The bar area was nice. We didn’t have breakfast as we were visiting family. Sadly the room was in a noisy spot, at one point I thought the windows were single glazed as the traffic noise (from an A road or the M8?) was very loud. I’m usually a good sleeper but the beds were so uncomfortable and lumpy / rubbish pillows didn’t help. The shower / bathroom was very clean and modern, unfortunately the shampoo/soap dispenser had been installed in a way that you couldn’t alter the shower temperature…(room 307). I’d say the carpet in the room needed a good hoover / clean. Room was plenty big enough for a city break and had iron/hairdryer/kettle

Hotel is in a great location. Updated. Rooms are tiny but clean. Staff is friendly. Bathroom is big lots of counter space Beds pretty comfortable. Lift is good size for a change! Breakfast tasty and plentiful. No fridge or safe for valuables.

As a city centre hotel, space can be quite limited, but it is good to hear that you found the bathrooms and elevators to be spacious. We are chuffed that you enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Thank you for your feedback regarding the lack of a fridge and safe in your room. Again, being in the heart of the city, space is limited. We hope that this did not cause too much inconvenience during your stay. We do have safes and a fridge on our ground floor which our guests are welcome to use to store anything they need, but we appreciate that this is may not always be quite as convenient as being able to access these facilities in individual rooms.
