L'hotel è situato in una posizione comoda per raggiungere l'aeroporto e le altre attrazioni. L'architettura, che ricorda un obelisco, è davvero incredibile, così come la hall. Ciò che mi ha colpito è che il personale è davvero molto ben preparato ed estremamente cordiale! Meglio della mia esperienza a Doha! Anche le camere sono fantastiche! Mancavano solo alcuni dettagli, come un calzascarpe e un menu del servizio in camera. Inoltre, non c'era il minibar rifornito, cosa che mi aspetto in un Sofitel come in Europa! Anche qui la pressione sui costi si fa sentire! Il personale del bar Millesimi, in particolare Khin, è stato eccezionale! Il cibo purtroppo non ha soddisfatto del tutto le aspettative. La spa è invece molto bella, pulita e offre trattamenti eccellenti, in particolare Ayu, che ha ridato un po' di vita alle mie vecchie ossa!

Non è l prima volta che vengo all’Obelisk, purtroppo sono peggiorate molti aspetti che per un Sofitel non son9 accettabili: -nonostante fosse inserito do not disturbe i camerieri hanno suonato il campanello -la receptionist del banco centrale sgarbata (mi ha maleducatamente detto che dovevo andare l club millesimé ) -al club millesimé é successo un fatto molto grave: mi sono presentato con pantaloni lunghi camicia purtroppo avendo subito un infortunio al piede avevo le ciabatte (chiuse) un maleducatissimo addetto non mi h nemmeno dato il tempo di spiegare, e mi h letteralmente cacciato dal club (vergognoso !). Questi dettagli, visto che uso spesso gli hotel della catena Sofitel, per questo livello di hotel sono inaccettabili.

Ottima esperienza. Le facilities sono eccezionali e in posizioni fantastiche. Ho avuto un inconveniente l'ultima mattina (che riguardava la mia salute) e me ne scuso.

Non ho potuto provare il ristorante giapponese perché chiuso ma ho provato il francese ed è ottimo. Servizio piscina perfetto e buon cibo. Colazione perfetta, di qualità ed abbondante.
