Other than the size of the rooms (on the smaller side), there is little you can complain about at the 25 Hour hotel in Zurich. Rooms are clean and modern. Nice design with unconventional aspects such as a bench to sit by the window, which makes the room cozy. Bathroom is integrated into the room, which means that the sink is in the room and the toilet and shower have their own small respective rooms. You should be OK with the fact that there will not be perfect privacy for the one taking a shower. If you need to work, you can make up for the small room by using the work space at the mezzanine level (desks and good wifi). The biggest plus is the location, smack on happening Langstrasse and districts 4 and 5. The traditional touristy hotspots in the old town are a 20-minute walk away. Station is less than 10 minutes away and makes for easy connections via train or to the airport. One downside of the prime location is noise: If you open the window, you will hear people partying at night, especially during the weekend. The windows are phenomenal, though, so simply closing them will give you all the quiet you need.

UGH. Cute decor in our hotel room but couldn’t feel any impact from the AC (which instead of a temperature gauge is just an unmarked knob). Some outlets didn’t work, no closet where you could hang up clothes, no WASHCLOTHS so you can’t wash your face at night. Flimsy pillows so we balled up our clothes and slept with our heads on that. The “free mini bar” was full of drinks that a previous guest had drunk half of. Very expensive restaurant in the lobby. Some nice people at the front desk! That’s the only positive. The rest of the experience was like staying in an uncomfortable college dorm room. To be avoided!

Nice and hip hotel. AC does not work although hotel is newish. Front desk said that’s the temp is maxed out. May stay again during winter but then heater may be next. It’s a shame, I like this mini chain. I like the uniqueness of each hotel. I would absolutely and positively never ever come to any of their hotels again.if they do not have the sense to plan for something so simple but charge exorbitant prices, then you just lost my business.

We spent four nights in this hotel and our experience was positive overall. Although some aspects could be improved, given the price of the room, others were much appreciated. Let's start with the positive aspects: The hotel's location is excellent, a ten-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of dining and nightlife options nearby. The room was comfortable, clean and the free minibar was much appreciated, even if it wasn't replenished during our stay (we'll come back to it later). The hotel also offers various services which we weren't able to take advantage of, but which seem to be a good plus. We'd also like to thank the team for their warm welcome and small kindnesses. Many thanks to the team! There are, however, a few aspects that could be improved, notably the service. We noticed a difference between weekends and weekdays, when service was smoother, especially in the restaurant. For breakfast, which was included in the price, we sometimes had to wait a while before being greeted, which could be a little frustrating. What's more, some dishes were regularly sold out well before the scheduled time, which was a little disappointing. As for the room, daily cleaning was not systematically done and had to be requested, which may be surprising given the price. For the same reason, the minibar was not restocked. Finally, a little more warmth and politeness from the staff would not go amiss; a simple hello in passing would make the welcome more pleasant. In conclusion, our stay was pleasant overall, even if a few adjustments would be desirable. With a little more attention, kindness and more regular service (room cleaning and minibar), this hotel could really stand out. We intend to return one day and believe that these “details” will have been corrected.
