Wonderful Hotel but...Best Price Guarantee from Accor not applied!

This is a lovely hotel with great staff and beautiful rooms. I booked through my Accor app but found a cheaper price online and applied for their Best Price Guarantee. BEWARE - Accor did not honour the Best Price Guarantee. After asking for and receiving screenshots as per their T & C's Accor does not respond to emails anymore. It seems very shortsighted that Accor are willing to lose a customer over a 30 Euro discount. Nobody like to be ignored.

Despite being quite cheap, its a nice hotel and the rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are very friendly and efficient, and both the reception and restaurant/bar have cool decor, and are a relaxing way to pass some time. Good location too, I'd definitely stay here again

Mama Shelter Prague was a disaster! Absolute chaos

We had a reservation for a Family XXL room for 4 people. At the reception, they informed us that they had a “problem” and instead of the Family XXL room, they would give us 2 standard, but connected, rooms. We agreed. Upon opening the rooms, we discovered that both were already occupied by other guests… luckily, they weren’t having an intimate moment… what an embarrassment! 🙈 We went back to the reception, and after 10 minutes, we were given 2 new rooms, but unfortunately, they were unsuitable, as they were rooms for disabled people (shower without glass enclosure, etc.). We returned to the reception, had a beer, and waited for different rooms. Despite both booking.com and the hotel’s website offering standard XL rooms (25m²), the staff at the reception informed us that only small rooms were available, where it was even difficult to open a suitcase. Since it was already midnight, we stayed one night and then moved to another normal 4* hotel. Never again with Mama Shelter. If you really want to enjoy your stay in Prague, definitely avoid this chaos.

Absolute 5/5. Beds are so comfortable. Great interior design, lovely views of the city, there was some road works being done during our stay but you would never be able to tell it was so quiet. Shopping centre 5 minute walk away, around a half hour walk to the old town but the walk is definitely worth it

Good hotel a little out of old town but with tram in front that brings you fast to the old town, daily ticket is very cheap. Hotel has a parking and we had nice but small room on 10 floor which gives good view but bathroom is really small but has a good rain shower. Bed is good and only what I really missed is no option to make a coffee in the room which is so normal that I do not understand why there is nothing in the room. Check in and out is simple and breakfast good and tasty maybe can get crowded and due to that gets dirty so that could be improved. Lobby bar is not bad and they have nice Terrasse. Close by is a shopping mall as well.
