Barra on Todd Restaurant and Bar offers distinctive cuisine and delectable dishes seasoned with local flavours. Mercure Alice Springs Resort is a comfortable and affordable, recently renovated hotel in the centre of Alice Springs city. Just a short walk from historic and cultural attractions and close to the Lasseters casino, entertainment and convention precinct. Barra on Todd restaurant is open daily for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner while Barra Bar provides evening drinks and bar snacks until late every day. The resort offers complimentary open-air parking as well as an on-site cardio room and weights area.

We had two stays at Alice Springs on our road trip to Darwin and both were great. The first trip was 8 days and the second was two nights. It's a perfect location - short walk to town, very safe and secure parking, and the accommodation was everything we needed. We had some issues with our room and they didn't hesitant to move our rooms. We were really impressed with the friendly reception staff, special shoutout to Brittany (manager) who went above and beyond. We had a great time and would be back.

What a wonderful location right on the Todd River and within walking distance of the town centre. All staff, from reception to the restaurant/bar to housekeeping were all friendly and courteous. The room decor and the rest of the hotel was all lovely and comfortable. The bathroom however was in complete contradiction to the rest of the hotel. The shower floor had a permanent grime mark. The shower curtain rail was rusty and disgusting. The shower head was loose and sprayed water up over the curtain. It was obviously a shower room for people with mobility issues and the wall seat was disgustingly. So glad we didn’t have to use it. There was no shelf or vanity unit to place our toiletries. The bathroom floor is not satisfactory in a hotel of this standard. For the duration of our 4 day stay, there was a hair on the shower wall and the room carpet was never vacuumed. Having booked this room through Qantas, we are unsure if this is the standard that you offer through this platform as we saw other guest rooms that had beautifully furnished bathrooms. The hotel did not appear to be at capacity, so unsure why we were allocated such a room. The restaurant diner service was terrific and the meals delightful. Breakfast however was disappointing. The first day we had a hot breakfast which the only part that was nice was the boiled egg. The next day we opted for the continental which was fine but nothing fantastic and the third day we went out for a cafe breakfast.
