Reception area is clean; smart and the staff there are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, plenty of toiletries etc. The pool looked inviting and was always in use but we didn’t get the opportunity to try it unfortunately. However, the towels are a bit threadbare; the WiFi is patchy at best and the common areas (like some of the rooms) do look tired and in need of a refresh. The outdoor space around the resort is in need of investment; exit driveway needs fixing along the bottom fence - pot holes are developing. There’s so many dry, old leaves over the garden areas and blown into corners and spaces around the resort, it looks so untidy. I can appreciate keeping on top of such a large area must be difficult but it really doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned / swept and brushed clear of dead leaves for months, this external appearance lets the hotel down especially given how smart and neat the entrance; reception, pool and dining areas are.

Staff of three in the whole hotel, plus two in the kitchen for dinner. Front desk person was run of his feet trying to do everything. Girls in bar/restaurant disinterested and bored by having to work and talk to guests. Room smelled like sewerage and plumbing was useless. Toilet filled up with water but didn’t really flush, basin filled up with water, nothing actually went down.

Staff were amazing, breakfast was delicious. Room Air-conditioning was outstanding on such a scorching and humid weekend, was a very lovely reprieve and escape! Room Service was delicious also! Only issue would be that the glasses left in the fridge (so they are cold - which is a great idea being in Alice) were very clearly & visibly not clean, nor was the water hopper in the expresso machine (which unfortunately I was then unable to use on my stay, as there is not even dish soap or clothes in the room to be able to clean it myself for use - Yes I could have contacted reception, however I did not wish to be one of those guests complaining about some trivial issues). The Balcony had also not been cleaned, as there were bottle caps from previous guests on the ground, along with a number of visible and muddy shoe prints on the balcony floor. I did leave these comments on the in-room card, however they don't necessarily always reach back to the appropriate people or department. Extra Pillow or Pillows in the wardrobe would have been appreciated, and is usually standard in accommodation! Besides the Housekeeping Issues my stay was wonderful!

Resort well located, amenities provided (bar, restaurant, swimming pool, WiFi) good. Only drawback was lack of any help with our luggage on arrival - had to push it on a hotel trolley across the road then to discover no real lifts - only a service lift - so had to put in and take out one by one.
