Barra on Todd Restaurant and Bar offers distinctive cuisine and delectable dishes seasoned with local flavours. Mercure Alice Springs Resort is a comfortable and affordable, recently renovated hotel in the centre of Alice Springs city. Meal was very poor, over cooked, over priced, very poor quality. $50 dollar steak, more like $ 20 dollar steak, Duck was cremated. Very disappointing, especially as it was our first experience as joining the Special Membership deal. My wife and I are Remote Area Nurses who very much look forward to our " indulgent night out" after our very busy placement. We have stayed at Mercure many times in the past and usually very much enjoy our meal and stay. Not this time. Other nurses have told us they stay at Lasseter's as far better food and services. We are certainly considering this as an option for us in the future.

We had a really comfortable stay at Mercure Alice Springs and would absolutely recommend it! The rooms were a decent size and we felt very safe throughout our whole stay. The staff were the real standout for us. We arrived late on a bus transfer from Uluru at 12:30 in the morning after a six hour drive and they were right there to greet us and get us signed in without any fuss. After such a long day, that warm welcome meant the world! They were helpful every single time we needed anything throughout our stay too, even helping us book a taxi which we really appreciated! One small note, we did notice a couple of stains on the sheets when we first got into the room, nothing too major but worth mentioning. The only other thing I would love to see is a smart TV so guests can stream Netflix and other platforms. The free to air with ads wasn't something we really used, but honestly that is such a minor thing in the grand scheme of a really lovely stay!
