The room itself was great, spacious, ginormous bed, a couple of comfy arm chairs with big windows to let in lots of natural light. There was also a nice large desk to work on my laptop at, except that in this lovely room, there was a pitiful excuse for wifi. To do any work, i needed to go down to the main resort building into the bar area to get any decent wifi connection. Now when i wanted to have some down time, the pool was inviting, except i was there just under a week, and in that time there was no attempt to clean out any of the leaf litter from the bottom of the pool. Yes, there were some major storms that hit, but the first storm hit on the Thursday, the next didn't strike until Monday. There was no attempt to tidy either the pool or the paths of any debris to make moving suitcases across the paths easier

I was shocked when I tasted the Pinot Noir I had asked for. It was undrinkable. I asked about the vintage and was told it was a 2025. Shame. It had moderate fruit, high tannins as expected of a year old wine and unpleasant notes from young oak barrels. Shame on you for serving a wine years before it should be.

The hotel was filthy. The rooms tired and in need of updating. Our room was not properly cleaned. The carpets were dirty. The floor area around the buffet table was sticky each morning. The breakfasts were poor, no eggs other than hard boiled. The staff were not responsive. Lovely stay, however I have had a financial issue whereby Mercure incorrectly charged me $105 and though they said I would be refunded on the spot, it has been almost 3 weeks and I still haven't been refunded. I have called twice and emailed, and still haven't heard back.

Well located and comfortable room. Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Very disappointed that our friends next door got a much bigger room than us and we paid the same price as they did.

I’ve stayed at the Mercure a few times already, and the check-in experience has always been a bit hit and miss. This time, however, it was much better. The gentleman who checked me in (sorry, I’ve forgotten his name, but I remember it was his third day as Operations Manager) was very professional and gave me a genuinely warm welcome. It felt like a proper check-in experience rather than simply being handed a registration card to sign.
