We had a big room with 2 comfortable beds and also a lovely balcony. We loved our room! But the housekeeping was not up to standard: Room service was not always satisfactory, and the crew (we had several!) who had to clean seemed to be not properly supervised.

I reviewed last time I stayed aswell , This time my curtains would not close , on inspection they were held up with safety pins . The chain security lock on my door was missing.. There were hairs in the bathroom , shower and bath.. The air conditioning turns off 8n the night and you are woken by the heat to turn it on again.. Also the food from the restaurant was poor with not many beers in stock .. Mainly there own brand .. But it was very cheap .. Im Accor Gold and have loyalty to the brand.. The rooms need renovating ..

Hi Michael Thank you for your review and comments. The security chain is not missing from the room, they have been removed in case of emergency. There is a deadlock on the lock, so you are always protected anyway. We currently have an issue with an under bench fridge in the bar which is why it may seem little stock. We are still holding all the beers on the beverage list. The "own brand beer" is actually Alice Springs Brewery. We have labelled 1 beer to celebrate Mercure Hotels opening their 1000 hotel worldwide. We look forward to welcominh you back again regards Ian
