So far I've stayed at the hotel, Mercure Hotel is still the best, starting from the rooms, the facilities are super complete, plus the friendly service, the receptionist, Mr Reza, is also very nice, so helpfull,thank you Mercure

Worst Chain & Embarrassment for Accor

The hotel you have to avoid during your visit in Bengkulu. Go to Santika instead. Rather an embarrassment for accor chained network. Lousiest service and the most incapable staff. So we made a reservation for group. There were 5 of us. The confirmation letter has been signed weeks before our arrival which stated that rooms are available through their marketing representative. But guess what? When we checked in, the reception said there’s no reservation under those names. I insist that we have to get room there no matter what. Cause obviously it’s their fault and they have to being responsible. Can you Imagine? It’s been a long day for us and greeted by the worst news of the day. After waited for an hour, we finally got rooms. Oh and the drama didnt end there. The rooms we got are on smoking floor area and some rooms downgraded with flawed facilities which wasnt what we signed on confirmation letter as well as guarantee letter. There was one room as complimentary, but man,, if they call it a compensation, I think it was incomparable with their clumsiness. I couldnt sleep that night cause some gentlemen next door talking, laughing, and coughing over over again. The wall just so thin and I could hear them loud and clear from my room same issue happened to all my colleagues. The next day one of my colleagues entered her room and greeted by irritating cigarette scent. She called receptionist like 3 times and also texted the marketing representative asked for treatment to make the cigarette scent fade away but took an hour and my colleague almost pass out inside the room. There was housekeeper came but he just wanted to confirm without bring the equipment. And for what?? Didnt helpful at all.. They did treat the room at last after such a drama and long wait. Please do better Mercure Bengkulu. Either train your staff, or substitute with those more competent and experienced people in hospitality cause clearly you have SOP and communication issue.

Nice hotel. Friendly and qiuck service. The room is clean and comfort. Clean swimming pool and the room rate is fair. Suitable for business or leisure. If you come to Bengkulu, eithr busienss or pleasure, Mercure hotel is highly recomended.
