We were only in Orange overnight, so I can hardly give an in-depth evaluation. Nevertheless, on a particularly cold Orange night we were comfortable, the room, though small, had everything we needed and the Mercure is conveniently close to the town shopping centre, the Civic Theatre and Art Gallery.

Mudy footprints left by Ausgrid workers were on stairs and passageways on the Thursday were still there on the Sunday

The rooms were clean but because it is a motel style accommodation facing onto car park it was noisy at all hours of night.

This was our second stay as location is great. The hotel and room was clean and comfortable but given there is no guest lounge or other facilities lacked ambiance. Our room was dark and cold even with air conditioning. Parking on premises was an issue even though overflow parking available at diggers club as most spaces were taken up by construction worker vehicles staying at hotel. Breakfast was satisfactory served in diggers club. Overpriced rates given lack of facilities as its Motel style accommodation.
