ibis Baden Neuenhof 3 gwiazdki

Visiting the area, I chose this hotel for its convenient access by public transport - bus every 15min to downtown Baden - and reasonable price - cheaper than in the city centre. My overnight stay was excellent. A big thumbs-up for the whole staff: whether at reception or during breakfast, each team member was smiling and helpful. The room reflected the usual Ibis standards. Bed and mattress of good quality - I slept perfectly well. Congrats for the soundproofing which is truly excellent: despite the busy road passing by and the motorway just at the back of the hotel, I did not hear any noise at all. Compared to other Ibis hotels, this property is offering air-conditioning in all rooms - much appreciated during the hot days. As usual in Switzerland, room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Thumbs-up for the breakfast offer with a generous and tasty buffet: Various breads and Danish pastries from local bakeries, Swiss cheese, cold cuts, yoghurt and birchermuesli, fresh fruit salad, various preserves. Even scrambled eggs are available. All in all, an excellent and tasty experience, better than in other Ibis properties. This is an excellent address for a stay in Baden, with outstanding value for money. I will gladly come back.

Great location and quite a newly built Ibis with up to date rooms and lovely shower room. It’s really the staff here that make it a special place, no problem is surmountable and nothing is too much trouble, they are the icing on the cake, well done and thank you.

Nowoczesny, ładny hotel, zlokalizowany przy samym przystanku autobusowym umożliwiający szybki dojazd do miasta Baden. Hotel jest bardzo czysty, personel bardzo miły. Idealny hotel na podróż służbową.

I have a dutch friend who had said they stay at Ibis quite a bit. This was my first one. It was better than I expected. The room was pretty small, as was the bathroom. But, check in was friendly and quick. The shower was surpisingly decent size and good, hot water flow. Everything was clean and despite being right next to the freeway with our room facing it, the room was surprisingly quiet. I'm use to silence at night where we live and I got to sleep easily. I was amazed it was so quiet. I opted for the added on breakfast, which was decent. The hotel gave us a bus pass to get to the train. The bus and train to the city was kind of slow, so that is a downside. But, we got the express on the way back, so it went straight to Baden. Just remember then hop back on the #2 bus. Just remember the name of the stop for the Ibis is Klosterruti. Not sure I would opt to pay more to stay closer to Zurich if we ever went back, but this was a good option for the price.

Great quality at a good price. Clean, neat, fresh, polished, spacious, and modern. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Much better than some other, more expensive (ibis) hotels in the area I've stayed at.
