For a quick stay where I needed to work remotely, this place was ideal. King size room was spacious and internet was good. Coffee shop downstairs was on point as well. Would do it again anytime!

Whenever I visit Austin, the Fairmont is where I choose to stay. It is like a five star hotel without the exorbitant rates. Clean, comfortable, convenient with great customer service!

I was disappointed with housekeeping because they did not replenish any of the coffee supplies in the room including coffee cups for 3 days. Extra $50. per night for a bathtub was a ridiculous amount of money.. Parking prices were also very high and our room key did not work in the parking garage.

Nice Hotel, Below Average Rooms. Poor Service

This hotel was built with high-quality materials, but my room was damaged in multiple ways and not maintained to the level one would expect from a 4-star hotel. Sadly, they were still willing to sell this room to me despite its flaws, and they made no effort to reduce the price they charged me. Also, if your room is on the Northwest side, you will hear construction noise all day long, starting at 8:00 am, as the convention center is under construction. The bed was too firm, and there were no top sheets. The service at the restaurant was pathetic, not because they were too busy, but because they were seriously understaffed, and the staff was not trained correctly. The bar was not much better. The valet parking was average as well. If you need your vehicle early in the morning, be prepared to wait and arrive late at your destination. I've had better service at a 3-star hotel. Overall, this hotel is not a 4-star hotel, and you will be overpaying for what it is worth. I will not be staying here again. This hotel is losing money, because we chose to leave for meals, after the first day of staying there was full of debacles.
