We stayed for 10 nights and we had a lovely holiday, the weather was fabulous! Hotel is clean and well kept, the reception area always smelt clean and fresh. The bedroom was very spacious and had a very large bed, we did have to request a cot and a child's bed on arrival as this wasn't prepared. Room was cleaned with fresh towels daily. The only thing I would say is that the carpet was a little worn which suggested a refresh would be needed. The adult pool area was nice (we didn't use its as had children with us, but we used the bar area on a night time). The kids pool is large and has 'hot tubs' around the edge and the swim up bar is useful, the young men worked non stop all day, everyday! The all inclusive drinks are limited (2 canned beer options, typical spirits, fruit juices, small cocktails list, bottled water, soft drinks) however for what we wanted, I would say we got our monies worth. The Astroturf around the Lava pool was a little worn around areas and could do with being updated but it was easier to walk on in the heat. Some days there wasn't enough sunbeds as people would reserve them all day and not turn up (by putting clothes on them) which was a little annoying when you have children and want to use the pool area. The beach was very nice and there was a lovely breeze, very rocky when walking into the sea (need sea shoes). We did some snorkeling and seen some turtles feeding on the rocks. The entertainment on an evening... or the lack of it! Meant there wasn't an awful lot to do on a night time, certain nights had 'entertainment' however mostly held inside one of the meeting rooms, only one night was outside and it lasted 20 minutes. The kids entertainment was also held inside and lasted around 30 minutes, my daughter (5 years) wasn't interested as it consisted mainly of Russian music. There is a sports bar which serves All inclusive drinks until 10pm, we used this most nights to play pool, chess, cards etc. We had to create our own entertainment most of the time. During the day around the family pool (Lava) the amination team made great effort to have people join in with morning stretching, water polo, boules, beach volley, aqua aerobics. And there was a nice atmosphere with music playing throughout the day. Food - it was delicious! The main buffet restaurant, Canvas, was only a small buffet (in comparison to other AI that I've been to) however there was still plenty of variety and in 10 days there was always something different to try! The staff were very attentive and super polite, loved my 1 year old, did everything they could for us as a large party! Later in our stay we discovered that you were given a 100dirham allowance per adults and 50 per child to use in the Lava restaurant up until 6pm, we used this everyday for lunch the last 4 days and it offered different dishes (burgers, pizza etc.) to what was being served in the buffet and the sushi was amazing!! There was another restaurant onsite (Copper Lobster) which you could use your allowance for however we didn't use this as the prices were a little higher and would of ended up paying extra (which after paying for AI, seems silly). The location is very remote - you would need to get a taxi if you wanted to venture out. I thought this would dampen our stay however with having 2 children with us, it wasn't major. There is a small fun fair around a 10 min walk along the road (used once as a change of scenery but nothing to rave about). It was around 1 hr 40 mins in a transfer to and from the airport. Overall, we had a lovely stay. I would say the hotel is around a 4* in comparison to other 5* that we have visited in UAE.

Loved the experience at Fairmont Fujairah. It has been an amazing experience. We celebrated our anniversary here.... We have a very nice kind suite with the marina view for 3 days..the staff was very kind. One special mention to Bhaskar for assisting us and showing us around the property!! Thank you guys. We will come back

It’s truly the best hotel! The service is absolutely exceptional — 20 out of 10 (and if you’re polite, it feels like 30 out of 10!). My special thanks to Zakaria — he’s the best! Always ready to help with anything, and always with such kindness and professionalism. The food was delicious and wonderfully varied — thank you so much to the chef and the entire kitchen team! The ocean is stunning and warm, and every member of the staff is incredibly sweet and welcoming. Area around is very beautiful and neatly kept. Thank you all so much for making my stay unforgettable! I’ll definitely be coming back again and again ❤️
