I wanted coffee but there was no milk in the fridge, only cold cups. Called the front desk, no one answered the phone. The layout of the room is also unreasonable, the sink is not in the bathroom, but in the bedroom.

No parking facility for hotel guests. Valet parking @$40 / night is a rip off. If you park your car out front for unloading luggage, they chase you up and make you deposit car keys at reception. Front desk employees are poorly trained - not their fault : I got the impression they put fresh graduates to check in guests, and scrimp on costs. I was charged twice for the same room - once during check in, and again during check out. They also added a $200 security deposit for good measure! When this was pointed out, the young man at the front desk tried to brazen it out, saying this was normal. I asked to speak to the hotel’s account team, who investigated admitted that a mistake had been made. For the prices they charge, you would think they can afford to have better trained staff at front desk. The rooms are weird, with toilet and shower separated by an open sink, making it a nightmare when two people are using the room. Plenty of other good hotels nearby, suggest avoid Pullman Rotorua. Pretty badly managed property.

Comfortable clean lakeside King Room. Bed & pillows gave the best sleeps & naps. Smart TV kept the kid happy & adults informed. Genuinely polite kind & very helpful Staff. The food & cocktails awesome

Large, clean and comfortable rooms and excellent location in Rotorua. Staff is helpful and friendly. You have plenty of restaurants and stores within a block from the hotel. The restaurant is ok, I wouldn't recommend dinner but breakfast is worth it if you want to splurge on a buffet.
