I only stayed one night at this property - and selected for this due to it was just a short night stay and this (chain) property seemed to be one of the more reasonable one among the different properties available for a reasonable price for the dates I need. Location The property is mostly suitable if you have a car/taxi/ride sharing, outside of that it is close to impossible or way too much hassle to use public transfportation. There is not much close to the property - within walking distance opposite from this property is a small shopping centre and about 10 mins by foot, there are some fast food and a pub. Check In Do take note that this property does not have a 24 hour check-in desk. I was actually taken surprised by this. Initially if it was not due to a flight delayed, I would have arrived when there was someone at the check-in desk. However I only arrived at the property slightly after 10pm due to the delay. I did receive an email from the property (which I was onboard the plane) about my arrival time, which I only saw after arriving into my room. Anyway, upon arrival at the property and noticing that the check-in desk was closed, they did have a phone to call the night on-duty person. [actually all the information was in that email]. The night duty person was came quickly down and my keys were available in a coded box and also a letter explaining the facilities, breakfast etc. Room There is only 2 floors in this motel like layout - with no lifts. I was allocated a room on the 2nd floor. The room was ok - for 1 night it was ok. The room was spacious - and decorated simply. There is not really much else to say about the interior decoration - which was close to none. There was a small table and next to it tea/coffee making facilities with a small fridge. There was also a small sofa in the room next to the bed. At the end of the room was a small wardrobe. The room was mounted with a wall AC unit - this worked fine and seemed to be a new unit. Internet speed was ok and the TV on the small side was ok - mainly with local Australian channels. Sleep quality was ok - the bed being sufficiently comfortable and there was no major interior nor exterior disturbance. The only noise disturbance towards the morning is the traffic from the major road next to the property - for me this was still tolerable, but might not be for light sleepers. The bathroom size was ok with a walk-in shower. The shower pressure and temperature control was good. They did provide generic toiletries. Overall Overall an OK property - although again I would like to stress that this is certainly not the usual Ibis Styles I had expected. Unless the definition of Styles here is the unique property which is based on a motel like style. For me the price-value was OK but for the same price I would next time find something more of a hotel like. I was also surprised that breakfast was not included by default (my experience with other Ibis Styles was that breakfast was included). There was a swimming pool - which I did not use, but did look ok. The only reason I gave it a 2 star is because of just how this property has been categorized within the Accor hotels branding - which I find certainly not the correct branding. Staff in general was friendly - I only communicated with the front desk agent when checking out.

staff on check in were nice, room was clean and spacious. The TV didn't work, but it was too late to anything about it at the time. Next morning I played around with it and tried a different power point and it worked. The airconditioner didn't work at all. The bathroom sink faucet wobbled around and there was no hairdryer!! I don't take one with me, have never stayed in a hotel without one in about 30 years. The bed was like a concrete slab, so hard. A feedback page was left for me to fill out, which I did. . I left it with my key in the drop box. I hope they read it.

Booked for five days room and breakfast a month ago. On the day of check in, notified that breakfast was not available, when challenged over the phone, as they sold it that way, Vicky the receptionist not helpful, David White the manager decided to cancel our booking without notifying us of having done so, both very rude and we were told that we undesirable guests and not welcome at there property. These two should not be working hospitality and a disappointing representation for the Accor group. One star is too much.

Incredibly difficult and rude staff, plenty of better places close by with much better people to deal with! Didn’t even get through the checking in process and did exactly that, don’t waste your time like me, book somewhere else.

Stayed at this hotel during our trip to Adelaide. Parking facilities are a bit cramped, but otherwise reasonable. The reception is reasonably responsive and friendly. The day we checked in, the clerk had bad breath, but we won't hold that against her. She was courteous and happy to answer questions. She did forget to give us wi-fi details and I went back later to get them. Must've been a busy week. Our room was well located as per my booking request and was set up very well. Cleanliness and hygiene were first class and what was included with the room was pretty good. One thing I did find surprising and a notch annoying was that although the rooms were non-smoking, ashtrays were set up along the corridors. One ashtray was near our door, and our eyes filled with tears as the acrid smoke from someone smoking next to our door wafted in... I did go out and suggest to the smoker that it would be nice to not smoke near someone's door, and he did oblige. So that was that. The in-house pool looked nice, but we were out most of the days and it was too cold during the evenings for a swim. The in-house restaurant menu looked ok, but we never got around to trying it -- besides, during our stay the chef caught COVID-19 and services were paused. We wished chef and all the staff a safe period ahead. Overall this hotel is good value for money, and the location is decent. There is a shopping area with cafes within 5 minutes drive, parking is good, wi-fi is decent, room services are nice, linen is great, hygiene is top notch and the management seemed quite helpful while we were there. I'm glad we chose this place for our Adelaide trip -- I've been to various other Ibis hotels on many occasions, and they're usually good.
