Had a horrible experience. The rooms are in a dire need for renovation. The air conditioner in the room didn’t work, even after complaining multiple times, no action was taken. The carpet in the room and the entire lobby is disgusting. Washrooms are in a terrible state. Would never return.

Stayed at Novotel Surfers Paradise for 3 nights. Usually we would stay in Broadbeach but we had a travel credit from my holiday centre / ignite travel group that needed to be used or it expired and this was the only package suitable for us at the time. The credit was for $960. We won’t be returning to this hotel, let alone for that kind of price! Pros: - Our room (1011) has views of the water from level 10. - bed was comfortable - Staff we encountered were friendly - Location is close to beach and eateries etc. walk to everything including light rail. Cons: - Room tired and in need of renovating. Can tell the building is aged. Old stained carpet in common areas outside rooms. Very low ceiling in the bathroom area of our room. I could touch the ceiling in some areas and I’m only 5’6 tall. Poky old bathroom with a shower over shallow bath. Not enough room to swing a cat in there. Poor water pressure from shower. - Water would leak outside the movable glass shower screen and wet all the bath mat. - Room 1011 located right next to elevators. Could hear elevators and showers etc from rooms next door. - Elevators are slow. Even with 5 of them operating. The hotel seemed to be fully booked with a Japanese tour group but even so, we had to wait over 10 mins for an elevator with enough room for us to fit most of the time. - Cleanliness of room could be better. We had black hairs in our shower and even in the draw of the mini bar area. (It’s not a mini bar either but small fridge and some glasses etc) - Location can make it noisy at night time from street noise. - Pool was having some maintenance to the facade on weekdays and so was closed until 4pm. Didn’t know this until checking in. They did offer use of pool at a sister property close by. - Housekeeping on one of the days had made the bed and put a couple pillows back, but left the other pillows not on bed, but on a couple chairs in the room out of place. Not a huge issue but shows not a lot of care factor.

第一个问题我们从地下的停车场上酒店的、但电梯是停在5楼、怎样都不会停一层、那么我在5层等了10分钟、刚好有人下楼、不然我没有办法去Check In 第二个问题、电梯很慢。那天四部电梯、只有两部运作、酒店给我底层的房间、虽然我是白金会员、但酒店没有给我升级。我也愿意付升级费用。最后我用了30分钟等电梯、我的晚餐也迟到了。本来订了看日落、最后看星星。非常失望。 员工们都很好、但人手不足。 所有问题令我不会再考虑这间酒店了。

Waren für 1 Nacht im Novotel. Lage: absolut Top, 1-2 minuten zu Fuss an den Strand, Parkhaus im Einkaufscenter (gleiches Gebäude 18 AUD 24h). Zahllose Restos in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zimmer: waren in 3511, 35.Stock. Balkon, atemberaubender Ausblick auf den Strand, das Peppers Soul Hotel und Q1 Tower. Room: Balkon, Safe, fridge, alles da. Sehr zweckmässig, wenig Wohlfühlfaktor, das kennt man von Novotels. Zimmer insgesamt recht abgewohnt, refurbishment nötig, Bad war allerdings neu. Sauberkeit etwas vernachlässigt, ein getrocknetes Softeis lag in der Ecke des Balkons. Service/Personal: top !!! Fazit: für 1 Nacht aufgrund der Lage perfekt, aber eben nur 3 Punkte.

O hotel tem uma ótica localização, perto da estação do Tram - Estação Cavil. Na parte de baixo do hotel há uma galeria comercial, que tem até um supermercado. O elevador é super rápido, o que ajuda se estiver atrasado. As camas são adequadas e o apartamento dos fundos, com vista para Hinterland, como ficamos no 26º andar, tinha uma vista linda. O único ponto negativo foi o chuveiro, instalado um pouco baixo e com pouca pressão de água. O café da manhã (estilo inglês) atende bem aos padrões do hotel.
