We had a fantastic stay at Novotel Goa Sylvia and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit. The food was consistently delicious, with a wide selection that catered to all tastes, and the overall hospitality was exceptional. Every member of staff was courteous, professional, and genuinely keen to ensure guests felt comfortable. The atmosphere of the resort was calm, elegant, and welcoming, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind. A special thank you to Rosalina from housekeeping for her excellent service and attention to detail, which made our room feel spotless and well cared for. Sailesh, our waiter, was highly attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout our meals. Jagdish, the barman, was equally impressive, serving great drinks with warmth and professionalism and Gita from front house who will do whatever it takes to make the stay comfortable. A truly memorable stay.

I am writing to express my significant concerns regarding the service quality experienced during my recent stay. As a frequent visitor to Goa, having consistently chosen the Radisson next door for nearly a decade without issue and i repemt for not chosing to stay there., I am particularly dismayed by the current circumstances. I would like to detail the specific issues encountered, beginning with the most pressing: 1. **December 25th Christmas Breakfast:** For a hotel purporting to be a five-star establishment, I anticipated a standard breakfast experience. However, on Christmas morning, the hotel appeared ill-equipped to manage a full house of guests, resulting in a makeshift breakfast arrangement in the ballroom. This setup was notably unprepared, with open food displays, unlidded items, and dirty dishes readily available for use. When I requested proper glassware, I was provided with disposable cups, with the explanation that other options were not yet ready. Furthermore, my request for a non-spicy paratha for my three-year-old was met with a refusal from the live counter, who stated that the mixture already contained chilies and could not be customized. It was only when the head chef stepped in i could get the parantha. Given the unsatisfactory state of the food, I opted to forgo breakfast entirely, finding the quality to be inferior to that typically found at a three-star property. The absence of table service was also a notable oversight, presumably due to the temporary arrangement. 2. **Beach Towel Policy:** Beach towels are a standard amenity at any beach resort. I was informed by your team that providing them was no longer hotel policy. However, upon visiting the beach, I observed several foreign guests utilizing them without apparent issue. The following day, your team did provide me with two towels. 3. **Milk for Children:** It is customary for five-star hotels nationwide to provide basic milk for children in the evenings. When I requested to inspect the milk used, your staff was unable to provide a new 1-liter tetra pack, instead offering an open glass of milk. I expressed my concern regarding the origin and safety of this milk, and while I offered to pay for a new, sealed container, I was informed that such a request was outside of policy. Fortunately, I had a tetra pack on hand for my child and subsequently purchased more the next day. I could enumerate further issues, but time constraints prevent me from doing so at present. My primary recommendation, particularly for guests with children, is to reconsider staying at this establishment. The food quality, cleanliness, and overall hospitality were severely lacking. Terrible room was not 5 star more like 1 star and they treat you like expound class people. I nearly got run over by the hotel golf cart security said get out of the way then. Terrible attitude terrible service avoid go somewhere else. Be respected

I had a terrible stay at this hotel .. First night I arrived the air-conditioning was not working. They did not move to another room They left me there with all the mosquitoes and the heat overnight. So the next day they still tried to fix it, but they could not fix it therefore they eventually decided to moved me to another room. Then after a few days, my room flooded. There was water all inside the room all my clothes are wet my shoes were ruined. Bearing in mind it rains six months of the year in Goa, you would think they would be used to. I’m blocking the drains . So then I decided to leave and go to another hotel. They did say I would get a refund, but I have not received anything.. this is supposed to be a five star hotel it’s very expensiveand it’s disappointing. All the bars are empty the restaurants are empty because it’s too expensive to eat there and the food is nothing special . The beach is dirty lots of litter lots of dogs and the shacks are dirty as well. I would suggest you go to the Holiday Inn, which is down the road. Beautiful beach, beautiful shack , The rooms are dated Furniture is very old this is not a five star hotel . The hotel has no atmosphere.
