We have stayed in Raffles during renovation but it didn’t disturb us at all. Only once while we were on the main pool we heard something but in Villa, restaurants and beach nothing. Villa is spacious and clean, has everything what u need. Our villa was with panoramic view—> incredible:) Beach small but beautiful, u can always find place and there are some water sports to do. All People that working in hotel are great, perfect service especially Mohamed and Niha that were serving us Breakfast which is also great. Buggy is always there and u can easly move. In conclusion perfect staying and I would like to come back soon:)

I was with my husband at Raffles Hotel in The Seychelles at the beginning of October. Unfortunately, the travel agency “One Luxury” didn’t warn us that renovations were being carried throughout the hotel. The last few days there was so much noise even on the beach, that it was impossible to relax and switch of. Sushi bar moved into a gym and from that moment, there was practically no gym anymore. The garden located on the hotel grounds was quite neglected and very unkempt, which is certainly not in keeping with the standard of this hotel and the price of staying in it. Breakfast and dinner were very modest, the choice was small and absolutely not up to the standard of such a hotel. The garden of villa 112 were we lived was also neglected and had a very unattractive appearance. But we were really lucky with our butler Simon - he was simply the best and tried to do everything to solve all the problems. He is a Best Butler ever! I also want to highlight the individual restaurant stuff, such as Neha - a girl from India and Cecile from the Philippines. Neha is not only very pretty and has a striking appearance like a photo model, but also very courteous, attentive and simply great! Cecile is very experienced, attractive and very professional. All in all it was okay, but the quality offered did not correspond to the price demanded.

Raffles will always be a special place for me, and I truly appreciated the beautiful birthday celebrations they made the moment feel memorable. However, the overall experience wasn’t at the level it used to be. Our room had a persistent smell, and we had to keep contacting the team to have it checked. Service felt noticeably less attentive than before, and the ventilation at breakfast specifically was so weak that you’d need to shower right after. The food quality has also dropped and no longer matches the high standards Raffles was known for. A stunning resort, but with service and maintenance that need improvement.

Raffles Seychelles – A Perfect Honeymoon

My wife and I chose Raffles Seychelles for our honeymoon, and it was nothing short of magic. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into paradise. This resort nestles on a lush hillside, blending with the greenery around it in such a natural manner as to be part of the island. The view is breathtak­ing, and everything is so thoughtfully designed. Highly recommended: book a villa with a panoramic ocean view. The “wow” factor is guaranteed; every time you step into your room, you simply won’t want to leave. The food was exceptional. We stayed on a half-board plan, and every meal was amazing. Breakfast is rich and varied, with beautiful buffet plus à la carte dishes from a special menu. Dinner provides several options: the main restaurant, and thematic nights like Italian, Arabic, Latin, among others. These dinners are quite popular; book your reservation in advance. The spa itself is excellent, offering a wide choice of treatments. We had a couple’s massage - both the service and the quality of the treatment were great. The hotel's beach may not be big, but it is uniquely beautiful and quiet. Highly recommended: take half a day to visit the Anse Lazio beach, which is just a 5-minute drive from the resort by taxi. The hotel will very gladly arrange round-trip transportation according to your schedule. The taxi fare is not cheap-about €20 each way-but worth it at any cost; Anse Lazio is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Just avoid weekends, since it gets crowded, especially during peak season. If I could, I would personally thank each and every one of the staff. Their warmth and professionalism made our stay unforgettable. Special thanks go to the Executive Chef, who always prepared something special for us to suit our taste; Bijo, who looked after our villa and ferried us around the resort in his buggy; and Shiv Dayala, who was our waiter on the last evening and proved very kind and attentive. In fact, all of them really deserve especial thanks. Special thanks to the hotel management, who were very obliging regarding our various requests both prior to and during our honeymoon, arranging everything down to the last detail. Such attention does not often happen, and it is correspondingly appreciated. Raffles Seychelles redefines the meaning of a dream honeymoon, luxury, nature, and service at its best. We left with hearts full of gratitude and memories that will last forever.
