Stay at Swissotel does not disappoint !

We travelled to Estonia mid September and have always been staying with them for the last 15 years . We booked a harbour view premium room . Initially they assigned us a smaller room with not such a great view which was quite surprising but upon our complaints , they agreed to shift us to a larger better view room ( which should have been assigned earlier ) since we were staying for 5 nights . Room was spacious with good amenities . Their entrance bar area is good enough to be used during the day to cater to tea / coffee / snacks services . Breakfast was sumptuous and used to be the highlight of our day . But in the evening , dining options in the hotel are very limited . Bar closes at 9 for any service and topmost restaurant serves very limited food option . There is a crying need for a proper restaurant in the property to serve lunch and dinner . The hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk from the old town which is a pleasure to cover in the right weather . Though in September it was windy and raining . Not many dining options around if not going to old town . All in all , the stay was comfortable except for the food part in the evenings

One my favourites in Tallinn

Swissotel has been one of my favourite hotels in Tallinn for years and still remains to be. The rooms, even the most basic ones, are spacious and have nice views. The bathrooms are also beautiful. The hotel is clean and staff is always polite and smiling. We loved the big swimming pool and it´s lovely that the access was included on the hotel room price. And we even got a welcome drink when checking in! Only reason for dropping one star on my review was this: I booked two rooms for our group, one couple with a 1 year old and one couple without kids. They gave us (with the kid) room that had a very narrow hallway. The other couple on our group had a much more spacious hallway. Wouldn´t be a big deal otherwise but when travelling with a trolley I would have appreciated more space. Now it was kind of a struggle to slide the strolley in to the room. Otherwise they welcomed our daughter really nicely, bringing a baby bed with cute sheets for her to sleep on (which she loved) .

Wonderful views

This hotel is a 12 minute walk from the old town and also the bus station, and is really in the business district. I had a wonderful room overlooking the view from the 25th floor. The room was immaculately clean. Expensive breakfast but a number of cafes nearby. I'd recommend this hotel to future travellers. PS Don't use the male public loos on the ground floor. The urinal is directly in front of a cubicle door and you risk getting squeezed, with unfortunate results, when someone exits the cubicle. Dreadful design!

This is my first experience with the Swissôtel brand, and it was positive so far. It offered all amenities one expected from a modern business hotel: spacious, clean room, bars, restaurants, warm decor. The hotel is right next to a shopping center with an upscale market which makes it convenient if you need to get necessities. It is not that far of a walk to the Old Town, but since the weather didn’t cooperate, we used Uber all the time, which was plentiful and cheap. 4.5/5.0

Elegant Surroundings with First Rate Service

This location is close to the harbor and old city and near parks, perfect for walking, shopping and sightseeing. This is a gorgeous, elegant hotel with top notch service. We slept so well in our cool, comfortable room. Every location on the premises is beautiful. We used the spa, sauna, lobby for relaxing, and ate lovely meals in the breakfast room. The buffet had many vegan and vegetarian options, important to us. The pots of summer berry tea were delicious, I couldn't get enough. The coffee was excellent. The staff worked very hard to make sure we had everything we needed. The only thing that bothered us was the glass door into the bathroom. There were so many mirrors and so much glass we had to make certain we did not crash into the door. Other than that we highly recommend this lovely, modern hotel.
