My stay at the Claremont was amazing! The property is beautiful, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would like to specifically thank Jeannie for her welcome attention and Manny for his professional beverage service. Everyone at the Claremont was smiling and pleasant to talk with. My room was spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend stay at this lovely hotel.

Customer Service Lacking

As always the facilities are beautiful but the customer service left much to be desired. We frequent the hotel a lot and were surprised by our dismal treatment. All in all, the hotel was over-crowded and did little for its guests. Don't go on a busy weekend whatever you do and don't expect 5 star treatment- more like 3 star.

Overpriced, Terrible Ameniities

This place is a nice pool with a godawful hotel attached. The room service menu is a joke, with mostly garbage like fried chicken and burgers. The inhouse restaurant is too cool for school, and refused to do takeaway because they were so so busy. Even though plenty of tables were empty. And there were filthy tables with buzzing flies that needed to be bussed. They also brought a broken highchair. The restaurant's food, once you managed to get someone to take your money, was decent The rooms do not have a minibar, and so you need to go down to the front desk for snacks. The onsite coffee shop is also decent, but closes at 3pm because reasons -- which a concierge managed to somehow not know. The batteries were almost out on our CO detector. And this all is a $500+ per night kind of place, not a Days Inn. Avoid.

Beware of surprise additional charges on checkout

Lack of clarity on the additional resort fee charged made for a disappointing checkout. Although I booked in the Accor App and it showed a total price with some comments in taxes, nowhere did it mention on an additional resort fee of $45 per day. I even spent 7 mins with the checkout agent to see where it was mentioned in my app booking but she could not find it. Disappointed with the lack of visibility on additional charges

On All.Accor.com when you book your room, there is a section that outlines the taxes and fees, of which a portion is the Resort Experience Fee. This also appears when you go to book the room on the mobile app as well. Front desk can't find their ass with both hands!

Check in process was awful - no room available when we arrived after reserving three weeks in advance. Front desk was not helpful at all - receievd room only after returning many times. Took over three hours to get a room - almost 6 pm.
