I stayed at this hotel for a month and was extremely satisfied. The room was spacious and beautiful, and the service was excellent. The housekeeping lady on the 12th floor was amazing — she always waited until I left late in the day to clean and was incredibly kind and patient. She truly deserves a raise. The breakfast manager was also fantastic — he even offered to prepare special dishes just for me. The breakfast itself was impressive, even better than in some 5-star hotels. The front desk staff were professional and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting Disneyland — it’s only one metro stop away, costing about 30 cents, and the shuttle service works very well, even going downtown. A few small things could be improved: the early morning staff when I arrived were not very polite, some breakfast items weren’t labeled in English, and the laundry machines are only explained in Mandarin. Also, the breakfast area, lobby desk and pool could be a bit cleaner. Overall, I had a wonderful long stay and highly recommend this hotel!

Perfect hotel for a Disney break

We stayed at this Novotel for a 3 night Disney trip in July. We arrived really early from a flight from London. As expected, our room wasn’t ready, but our luggage was stored safely & we were able to access the showers in the pool/gym. Unfortunately the check in time on our Expedia booking (12) didn’t match the hotel’s policy (2) which was frustrating after such a long day, but the hotel did let us check in 50 minutes early which we were grateful for. Although we didn’t expect it, some staff do speak English which was very kind. The rooms are spacious, comfortable & well appointed. The restaurant is lovely & food very varied, especially at breakfast. If you don’t feel like sitting in the restaurant, they will even deliver your food to your room via robot! We used the airport shuttle and the Disney shuttle, both of which were fantastic. They were on time, it was clear where to meet the bus and they were frequent, especially at park close. If we were to stay in Shanghai again I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel.

Great hotel near the airport and Disneyland Shanghai. They offer free shuttles to Disneyland, the Airport, and the Bund. They also provide free use of strollers for kids. They have an indoor playground and a pool that the kids will enjoy. The food in their restaurant is also great at a very reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a brilliant stay at the Novotel Clover in a lovely family suite, with great Disney decoration. Even extra treats for my partner’s birthday. The beds were giant and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful providing a very smooth check in and convenient luggage storage. The shuttle to Disney and the airport was a great bonus and very helpful. Would highly recommend.

It was a pleasant experience staying at Novotel Clover. We engaged the services of Lucky to assist us with the route in Disneyland and it was a breeze navigating there as we have an elderly and two young children with us. Appreciate Lucky’s attentiveness. It is always pleasant to see Zhang Yanli as she provides excellent service and makes us feel at home. She goes the extra mile to assist my mother with the drinks and food. We like the small indoor playground for the children and the shuttle services to airport and Disneyland are excellent.
