Functional, comfortable at a budget price. Simple, no thrills. Can't complain about the value for money. Few things could be improved, like providing 2 pillows per person. Decor's now very dark and sombre. Softer towels, otherwise OK for a night's stay.

Chose hotel as close to Stade Rennais stadium. 15 minute walk at most. Check in friendly and efficient. Provided with code rather than key for room. Room compact but clean. Had everything I needed for short stay. Gate to carpark shut overnight to give added security. No issues getting in as hotel constantly staffed. Hotel really quiet. Got a good night’s sleep! No frills but totally adequate.

When we were travelling back from France my wife left her purse at this hotel, and we only noticed 200km down the road. We contacted Ibis, and staff had already secured the handbag and kept it safe for us to be picked up. Gregory at reception is a very professional and welcoming person, and we'd heartily recommend a stay over.

We arrived in Rennes and booked into the hotel. The Staff were so helpful to us-the rooms were beautifuly decorated and compact. Breakfast kept us going until well after we arrived in Carnac - there is a lovely Restaurant, which I will review later, just in front of the Ibis-Rooms had 2 beds in each room at 51 euros

The hotel took me unawares with the unmanned reception approach, everything being automated, but the system works so long as you've got the booking reference etc and come the evening there are staff present to help you with your queries. The location is good, we were there for the football which was a 15 minute walk away, the city is easily accessible too via the number 11 bus, which the staff will help you with the information for. There is a supermarket near the football stadium too and a few restaurants nearby. The facilities are simplistic but good. As the name suggests, its budget, but if you want extra towels or pillows etc, you can pop to reception and ask. You have all you need for a short stop over, would recommend for those passing by who need a bed for a night or two.
