Luxury that is specially attuned and crafted to Rio. The lush plants and gardens everywhere make you feel your secluded in a jungle paradise, the buildings and their history as a site for coffee storage add a sense of place and charm, and everything is beautifully maintained. Christmas decorations were lovely. The hotel is a good size, feels like a boutique hotel that is never too crowded. Walking around Santa Teresa provided lots to discover and eat, and I always felt safe. The hotel is about a 20 - 30min ride from most other big tourist attractions. The restaurant's food is delicious and service is excellent. The rooms are quiet and all very high end. It may be pricey but it's worth every penny. And of course the views are stunning.

Our stay at Hotel Santa Teresa Rio was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by a warm, attentive and professional team, always ready to help and make us feel at home. The restaurant truly deserves special mention. The quality of the gastronomy is outstanding, with beautifully presented dishes, excellent flavors and great attention to detail. Every meal felt like a refined yet relaxed experience, perfectly in tune with the atmosphere of the hotel. The spa was another highlight of our stay. I personally enjoyed the hot stone massage, which was deeply relaxing and incredibly well executed — a true moment of disconnection and well-being. An absolute must. We also loved spending time at the bar and in the garden. The setting is stunning, peaceful and lush, making you forget that you are right in the center of Rio. It really feels like a hidden sanctuary, perfect for slowing down and enjoying the moment. Overall, Hotel Santa Teresa is a unique place that combines elegance, comfort and authenticity. A true oasis of calm in the middle of the city, and without a doubt a place not to be missed. Highly recommended.
