We kwamen om 09:45 uur aan voor het ontbijt, dat tot 10:00 uur duurt. We waren net met onze kinderen begonnen met een paar croissantjes toen het personeel al begon op te ruimen. Er werd niet even gevraagd of we nog iets wilden nemen, bijvoorbeeld dessert of andere producten, zoals we dat normaal bij andere hotels gewend zijn. Toen ik dit aangaf, werd er wel gezegd dat ze eventueel nog iets uit de keuken konden halen, maar op dat moment voelt het natuurlijk niet meer prettig om daar nog om te vragen. Verder waren de medewerkers bij de receptie gelukkig een stuk vriendelijker en gastvrijer dan onze ervaring met het personeel in het restaurant. Daar waren we wel tevreden over.

Eén nacht verbleven. Het hotel ligt pal aan de rand van het historisch centrum, en toch is het vlot bereikbaar. Er is een parkeerstrook voor het hotel waar je de wagen kan parkeren om in te checken. De privé garage van het hotel is zeker een puspunt. Ik zag er zelfs een behulpzame parkeerwachter bij het uitchecken de volgende morgen. Er zijn gereseveerde plaatsen voor elektrische voertuigen waar je zonder problemen mag parkeren. Alleen is het opladen niet gelukt gezien de laadpalen andere stekkers gebruiken en deze van ons er niet in pastte. Verder een heel vriendelijke ontvangst, ook bij het uitchecken. De kamers zijn proper en in orde. Alleen het zwembad leek me aan de kleine kant.

Bovenop de badkamer tegels lag er heel veel stof. Misschien extra op letten dat dat van tijd tot tijd afgestoft wordt.
