I stayed in the hotel twice during my visit to Accra. Both times lack of maintenance and cleaning standards evident in the rooms. 1. Screeching air conditioner so unable to have on overnight making it hot and uncomfortable 2. Large cracks in the sink and wobbly tap 3, Bedside lights had exposed internal wiring and broken 4, Light bulbs not replaced 5. Room door handle came off in my hand 6. Dirty, streaked walls in bathroom 7. Toe nails on the bathroom floor The general areas were different and were comfortable. Communal washrooms also poorly maintained with open plumbing where sinks have been removed. Staff were all very helpful. Good breakfasts with large variety.

Via het bookingsysteem van mijn organisatie heb ik een Accorhotel gekozen, om trouw te zijn als loyaltymember. In het hotel bleek dat door dze wijze van booking de loyaltie punten niet konden worden bijgeschreven. En dat terwijl ik wel zelf de rekening moet betalen. Op deze manier is er geen reden voor mij om loyaal te blijven.

Very supportive staff, quick response by front desk on issues, daily cleaning. The treatment from most of the staff is quite good 👍. Breakfast included in the package complementary tea coffee in room. Breakfast is good for most non-vegetarians but for vegetarian less options in the morning breakfast buffet.

There were cockroaches on the bed and tea station. The jollof and tilapia food was under cooked and extremely poor without flavor. I arrived at late 9pm and was service by a bunch of stupid young men. The was no hotwater for the shower or rather not hot enough. No apologies or refund from the manager or the waitress when I showed them pictures of the cockroaches. Even after the manager promised that she will refund the meal i bought. Obviously she did not care as I was a black Ghanaian man. If it was a person of any other race I'm sure she would have sorted him out before they complained. See the picture for yourself. typical slavery/colonialist mindset.

The hotel is super close to the airport and has a free shuttle. However, some rooms are fine and others have peeling paint. Request a renovated room. The breakfast is quite good and is included.
